Welcome to Atomic Ranch Heaven — a luxury midcentury vacation home in Palm Springs with an award-winning outdoor living space named one of HomeAway’s Top 5 Outdoor Spaces in the U.S.. Located less than a mile from Downtown Palm Springs in the desirable Movie Colony East area, this modern retreat blends iconic MCM style with seamless indoor–outdoor living, a private resort-style saltwater pool and spa, fire features, alfresco dining for 10, and a fun backyard putting green. The tropical backyard is the showpiece of this home. A large saltwater pool with spillover spa and tanning shelf takes center stage, surrounded by deluxe floats, chaise lounges, a daybed, and a hammock. The dining table seats 10 and, with space heaters, a fire feature, and glowing evening lighting, you’ll want to dine alfresco every night. Guests can also practice their short game on the putting green. This is true Palm Springs living at its finest.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
The private resort-style backyard is the showpiece of this home — a tropical oasis designed for full-day relaxation. Enjoy the heated saltwater pool with integrated spa, tanning shelf, luxe floats, multiple chaise lounges, a shaded daybed, hammock, and beautiful mountain views. Evenings are magical with a fire feature, ambient lighting, and alfresco dining for 10. Golf lovers can sharpen their short game on the private putting green. INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Inside, the home features an open-concept midcentury interior with two spacious living rooms—ideal for groups. Each offers comfortable seating and a smart TV for movie nights and streaming. The chef’s kitchen includes everything needed for home cooking and flows directly into the dining area and backyard through expansive sliding glass doors. High-speed WiFi, smart TVs throughout, and upgraded climate control ensure a seamless stay.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Three stylish bedrooms plus a futon comfortably sleep up to six. The Primary King Suite features luxury linens, smart TV, and a spa-inspired ensuite with double vanity and walk-in shower. Two additional Guest Suites—one King, one Queen—offer hotel-quality bedding and their own smart TVs. A full futon in the living area provides flexible sleeping for extra guests. An additional 1.5 hall baths serve the home.

Special stay

The house was amazing - especially the outdoor space which was so comfortable and relaxing. Cool fire pit table and great grill. Comfortable beds. And their house manager - Acme- was really helpful and responsive before and during the stay. Highly recommended

Thin doors, terrible furniture.

Rented atomic ranch for my birthday. Do not rent if you have couples that want privacy. You could hear everyone breathing or the slightest movement in bed from bedroom to bedroom. Lots of lights that were flickering or just didn’t work. The lawn chairs were made of metal and burnt your skin if you weren’t very careful while using them. The pool was full of leaves looked like it had not been tended to in a while. The synthetic lawn, though nice looking was very hot to walk on from the house to the lawn chair to the pool. Kitchen was well stocked but needs knives that are sharp. The Sonos sound system was nice to have inside. Had to wash towels daily due to the lack of them, both pool and house The couch though trendy had a very short back rest and made watching a movie at night very uncomfortable. Odd use of outdoor space with rocks and a random putting green. No instructions on how to light the multiple outdoor fireplaces. Water from the taps was very milky in appearance. Master shower handles were cheap and felt like they were going to fall off if moved. Not a walkable distance to town as advertised All in all not worth the $$. Acme, the rental company continues to send texts and emails advertising spam almost daily. Wanting you to rent directly through them vs using the VRBO service that I booked through.

Great location to dive into Palm Springs

The house fit the description and certainly has an amazing pool and backyard setup. The kitchen is functional and has basics for most meals we wanted to whip up. Of note, there is an attached bedroom to the master suite. Great if you have children in the next room to supervise. Not so great for adult couples as the doors are thin. Proximity to Ruth Hardy Park was great for tennis each day!

Fantastic house

4 of us stayed here for a quick getaway. Communication was great. The place was very clean. Had everything we possibly could’ve needed. We had a great time in the beautiful mid century, modern house and took full advantage of the great backyard amenities. We’ll be back…soon I hope.

Atomic Ranch in Palm Springs

My family spent the better part of a week at the house. The house is great. Super clean, well stocked with essentials - coffee, soap, shampoo. The backyard is fantastic. We spent a lot of time there. The location was very convenient to walking around the main drag. I highly recommend the house for a stay in PS.

Perfect for group of friends, family or private getaway with all you could want!

Pool with baja shelf, shade umbrellas, privacy in back, hot tub, fire pit, updated baths, nice bedrooms..Check, check, check, it has it all! House is more modern, less PS kitsch, designed to give feel of hotel while enjoying private pool to yourself. New AC worked well,huge washer/dryer, all appliances newer & good condition. 2 rooms share bath. Smallest is Jack n Jill style that can be locked from Primary. Large Primary, huge nice shower with tons of water pressure. Well equipped kitchen, even found a tiny screwdriver needed for something. Fridge plays music. Loved all the night lighting on patio & pool, family has big screen TV loaded with streaming apps. Used two big blue chairs for mobile mani pedi/massage service, it was great. Powder bath off family with for pool access. Showstopper is backyard, Star Jasmine vines smelled so good on patio cover. Loved hanging lights, had ceiling fans and even a gas heater. Hit spa button 45 mins ahead of use for the heat to kick on in hot tub but it worked well once going, hot tub has a ton of jet pressure. Pool supposedly heated, could have been warmer when it was 105 out, too cool for 70 degrees. Used table top fire briefly as it was windy that day. Firepit flame was blue & low to ground so that was disappointing. Overall, pool area is fantastic, noise was not an issue. Nice neighborhood, close to lots of restaurants. Would definitely book again & would be hard to book different property with as much as I liked about this one!

The Atomic Ranch and its host ticked all the boxes for us. Great spacious house with a terrific backyard. On the eastern edge of the Movie Colony neighborhood with a beautiful serene park across the street. Terrific location. We can’t wait to go back. Book with confidence!

Fabulous week in Palm Springs

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Atomic Ranch. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook at home and use the outdoor grill area. The beds are comfy and the outdoor area was perfect for having morning coffee, dinner outside or enjoying the spa. The outdoor heaters made it possible for us to be outside quite a bit which was great. The location of this home is perfect for nights out in Palm Springs or for heading out for hikes at various trails. We enjoyed everything about Palm Springs as it is easy to navigate around. This house was a great place to experience all that PS has to offer.

Great Location, Baller Backyard

Location was nice, quiet, safe and walkable to down town. The backyard is lovely. Great pool, great outdoor kitchen space. Everything you need to enjoy a sunny day or a chilly evening outside. House is well kept and very comfortable. Management company was great from beginning to end.

Lovely setting for a lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property - the indoor and outdoor settings were lovely and the property management company was very responsive and kind! The only thing that was a challenge was that the AC never fully cooled off the rooms but the fans helped as much as they could! Atomic Ranch is absolutely gorgeous and anyone who has the chance to stay is lucky and then some!

Amazing Vacation

We come to PS every year around the 4th, and this was one of the most memorable ones! We absolutely loved the house - from the ease of communication with ACME, to the amazing house, the wonderful pool - all was just AHHHH! We have dealt with houses and owners in the past, and this was the best experience that we have ever had. Perfect location, right next to a really nice park that had yoga every morning, tons of like-minded dog walkers. We loved it all! We will definitely be back next year!

Wonderful property!

We stayed at this home for 4 days last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a big living room area off the kitchen where everyone can gather to eat, watch TV or just chill. Lots of places to sit for meals, more than we could even use. The living room and bedrooms have the most amazing ceiling fans with a Whoosh feature that really cools the air. All of the bedrooms have comfortable beds, lots of pillows and a TV in each. Having TVs in each room is really nice and something we always look for in rentals. The master bedroom/bathroom is HUGE with private access to the pool area. Kitchen is nice with modern appliances and all the amenities and basic cooking needs. Although not listed, there is a Keurig coffee maker as part of the drip coffee maker, so bring your k-cups. And finally the pool area. It’s amazing! Surrounded by fruit trees and a small grassy area, with a fire pit and a little putting green, it is the jewel of the house. Umbrellas IN the pool and two tanning shelves made it so nice. The jacuzzi was perfect too. The back yard has two sitting areas and a very nice bar/bbq table that we didn’t even use. Also, this is the first place we rented that actually had enough pool lounge chairs for everyone! Ceiling fans in the patio area were a nice touch. The management was very responsive when we needed them.

Had a lovely week in Palm at this well maintained house full of great amenities. The backyard is fantastic with the pool, hot tub, bbq and fire table. Enjoyed many days just hanging out in this peaceful setting. Good location and easy access to all of Palm Springs. Fast communication with the property managers. Would highly recommend

Fabulous Property

My small family stayed for a week and we had a great time. The home is well decorated and well stocked. We cooked most of our meals in, including grilling several nights. The backyard is just amazing - the cooking space, the fire place, the pool, the hot tub, all of it. The towels and bedding were all comfortable. The only thing that might improve the home is a second fridge in the garage! We would definitely rent again!
