Welcome to Mermaids Retreat. Thank you so much for booking with us. The home is located on a quiet street in the heart of rapidly growing Palm Coast. Enjoy the cool, airy coastal vibes designed with visitor in mind. The home has 4 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 11 in beds. Keep cool in the pool and kick back in vintage rattan patio set. Enjoy Mermaid’s treasure trove of art that transports you to a vacation state of mind. Get your daily dose of salt at Flagler Beach only 15 minutes away.
The space
Hi! Here at Mermaids Retreat the floor plan is open, but every room has a use and it’s own character. From the laid back family/tv rooms, to the uniquely individual bedrooms each room. Like Ariel said 🎼 “ look at this stuff.. isn’t it neat, wouldn’t you say my collections complete “ 🎶. Mermaids Retreat will have you relaxing and hopefully inspired to venture into the great big salty world. 3000sqft to spread out in you and your loved ones will be floating around without feeling like you’re in a fishbowl.
Other things to note
Palm Coast is the perfect launch spot for your stay in Florida. From the house:
⭐️Flagler Beach is 15 min away
⭐️Close to Crescent beach, Beverly Beach, & Marineworld.
⭐️World class golfing
⭐️Surfing
⭐️Fishing
⭐️historic St. Augustine is 30 min away
⭐️Daytona is 30 ish min away
⭐️Orlando is about 1 hour away depending on where you want to go.

** UPDATE: ring, security lights have been installed on the front of the house. One is by the garage door carriage light, and the other is high on a pillar going toward the front door. They record sound and movement as well as have 2 way talk. This is to not only protect the house and it’s belongings but for my guests piece of mind and protection. THANK YOU!

Wonderful

First time visiting Florida. Amanda was a huge help with any questions that I had. The house was extremely clean and very roomy. Not knowing the area the beach was about 20 minutes from our location but we drove up and down the coast plenty of times. Daytona Speedway was not very far from our location I highly recommend the tours. Vacation was great.

Nice house! Would recommend this place! Cleaners need to do better job. Towels were left in sryer so we didn't have towels umtil we found them later. Also canðy bar and dirty sock found under a bed and nightstand

BikeToberFest Guys Retreat

4 friends get together for some late season motorcycle riding during the Daytona fall rally. We had the best time! Weather was gorgeous and Mermaid’s Retreat was an awesome venue for our group! We enjoyed the pool and made most of our meals ‘at home’. Plenty of room to spread in the spacious home - gas grill for cooking all manner of carnivorous delights - easy on-off to US Hwy 1 for quick entry to Ormond & Daytona and away from all the crazy rally traffic. Amanda was the most incredible host and was very attentive to all our needs/requests. Although there’s no trailer parking (by city ordinance) at the home…the folks at nearby Flagler Trailer Service were great and made us great deals on short term parking for our multiple trucks/trailers. Highly recommend the Mermaid for your Daytona area stay!

They told us there must have been a glitch with the app.

We didn't receive the keys for access to the property until after we called vrbo. We were given lots of excuses. Once we were able to enter. There was no information on wifi, laundry, trash or anything else. Finally reached owner again for wifi info. We used the grill outside. But it is broken so don't use. No extra linen or blankets. No tv unless you know how to stream. But otherwise it was just ok. For what I paid tho It should have been better.

Great house!

This place was perfect for a large family. Great big place with massive kitchen and three bathrooms! We had an amazing time! We would love to come back. One thing it doesn’t have yet are beach towels and some miscellaneous towels. But there’sa target and Walmart close. Thank you for the stay!!
