"The Family Affair rooms are on the second floor of a mixed use block in an older building in an established area of Palermo. Only 15 mins walk to the cathedral. "On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room (Room 31) which was located in the annex across the street from the main block. The room was spacious as was the adjoining ensuite bathroom.
We stayed four nights and the room was thoroughly cleaned and towels replaced each day. Bed was large and comfortable. Kettle & tea/coffee provided was welcome.
Breakfast was plentiful and good quality.
Staff (at reception, bar, breakfast and housekeeping) were all uniformly polite, helpful and welcoming....

Charming room with high ceilings and large private balcony adjacent to reception/bar/breakfast room/lounge on the top floor. Effervescent staff who are eager to suggest best ways to spend time in Palermo and make dining reservations on behalf of the guests. Reception hours are limited to two shifts organized around breakfast (served 8:30-10:00) and afternoon/evening (4:30-8:30)."
