"The property was nice but there are two sections to this property, i wanted a view of the Acropolis and did not have a view of the Acropolis., i thought i would have that. The side i was on the elevator did not work on my floor, had to go up to next floor and come down and when i checked out had to carry luggge down the stairs. The hotel have a restaurant and bar and you are sitting outside to eat and drink. The accommodations were good two twin beds in room A/C very cold TV nice ahower.. "

"Our overall stay was good. The property had great communications and set up transport to and from the airport (46 Euro to hotel and 65 Euro to airport). We were given the wrong room when we arrived though. We booked the veranda and got a street view with a deck. DOUBLE CHECK YOU GET WHAT YOU BOOKED. The street view is very very loud even with the window and shade closed and the air on. They did move us a day later to our veranda side which was so much more quiet and you get full sun all day....

"Staff friendly. Great plus: Convenient location - close to the metro station- Megaro Moussikis 5 minute walk at normal pace. Blue line (goes to airport and Piraeus seaport) Small quirky lift / elevator, but functions. Room - good to have small kitchenette. Comfy bed. Bathroom - relatively clean. Can do with a bit of work to deep clean some areas and minor repairs. Loved the balcony. Overall, good hotel. Would definitely stay here again. "

"My family and I stayed here (June 6-8) and Eva was very accommodating and answered our questions within a timely manner. The apt was beautiful and spacious for a family of 4. The best part about this apt is that it was near so many good restaurants and it was only a 5 min. walk to Monastiraki Square where people can also get on the hop on hop off bus. If i ever come back to athens i am definitely staying at this place again. "

"The Varaba Country House was an absolute gift to find. Warm and welcoming, it’s an oasis away from the hustle and bustle in Athens. Not only was the home cooked dinner delicious, you have a table looking out over olive trees, and if you want, you can start up a conversation with other travelers. Our room was beautiful, and breakfast was a treat. Definitely recommend if flying out of Athens airport, only 12 minutes away. Also, sweet animals (Bruno the pup!) will say hello! "

"Jag hade en mycket trevlig vistelse i denna lägenhet. Den var bekväm, ren, rymlig och kändes trygg. Städningen var mycket bra, och jag blev positivt överraskad när jag kom tillbaka efter en dag ute och upptäckte att disken var diskad och köket i ordning. "This property was convent to the airport and this was what we were looking for for our last night in Athens. If you don’t have a car it is a long public transportation ride. Metro great but the bus you have to get on doesn’t come by that often. It’s not walking distance to any restaurants or grocery stores even though it stated walking distance. We didn’t find them. "Located in a very busy neighborhood but lots of dining options that were delicious!! The apt was clean and spacious. We arrived early and were able to wait on the roof terrace because we ran into the housekeeper. I had emailed the property weeks before asking about early check in and did not receive a response. Also, the shower ran out of hot water and our shower head was broken. Maybe we are spoiled Americans but after traveling 24 hours to get there, I was really looking forward to a shower....
