"My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking...

"Totally enjoyed it from start to finish. Comfy bed, lovely view from room 17. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was spot on, as were the evening meals. Lovely part of the country with plenty of walks. "

"A steady clean hotel away from the hustle of the city centre. The staff were super friendly, special mention to Kiran on the check in desk. The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area. The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. "Excellent facilities. Stayed here twice, specifically to enjoy the spa packages on offer, what a lovely way to relax. The bedrooms are very comfortable with bathrooms especially well designed in the Woodlands rooms. Or you can enjoy a more period feel staying in the Manor House. Hotel easily accessible from motorways, in a quiet countryside setting, we especially liked the well designed bathrooms. "This was our first stay at an Ibis hotel, I didn't expect much for the price, we did just want cheap & cheerful/a bed for the night however the room was SO basic and quite dated. The TV worked on the first few channels but anything else took so long to load, we gave up. Neither of the two bedside lights worked, the lamp on the worktop also didn't work (even checked it was turned on at the plug). "Another lovely stay at St Andrew's hotel. Staff are very friendly, instructions for log in clear and easy to follow. Breakfast is great with lots of choice. We visit friends in the area from time to time and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Room is always spotless and comfortable."
