"Sophie et Paul ont tout fait pour faciliter notre arrivée et notre sejour. Nous avons eu un temps merveilleux, idéal pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Nous avons pris tous les repas dehors. Comme l'indiquent d'autres voyageurs, un bémol sur l'insonorisation. Et l'une des chambre double est en mezzanine, sans entree privée ni volets. Très belle région, à découvrir !"

"The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. "

"This house is exceptional. The outside area is particularly lovely, the pool a dream. We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. Communication with the host was probably the best we have experienced after many stays across Europe, she was more than helpful. Nearby we made trips to Angoulême, Saintes, Royan ( a must for the architecture) and Niort. We can thoroughly...
