Conveniently situated with a friendly helpful host . Booking through stayz is not the ideal for contact with the owner in an emergency with no phone number supplied. Not all clients are able to use internet in another country or expecting to have to be routed through Stayz.

Great location & relaxing

The owner/host, Jenny, was easy to deal with and communicated well before and during our stay. The apartment was spacious and well suited to our family of four. The location was excellent and just a short walk ( 5 minutes) to all the main amenities and key attractions in Paihia. It was great to have a 2 BRM unit to ourselves with a very relaxed check-in and check-out, rather than in a hotel or motel.

Improvement suggestions

Property has seen a lot of use. Walls and skirtings could do with a good clean and fresh paint. The sliding door lock is loose and it took some juggling before it could be locked. Kitchen could do with a proper set of cereal bowls and bread and butter plates. I didn't feel the property lived up to it's rental cost or suit four adults. Two adults two children max.

Top spot

It'd be difficult to find a better holiday spot in Paihia. Superbly sited - 3 mins walk from town but quiet - and with views over the bay. And superbly stocked with all we needed. Even a hot water bottle in the bathroom cupboard. Never seen that before. Host really on the ball. Recommended.

Amazing stay at beautiful Bayview!

We had a fantastic stay, it was easy to check in and the property was lovely and clean. Jenny was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent and the beds were very comfy. We didn’t want to leave! Would definitely recommend and will re-book for future trips to Paihia if available. 5* accommodation!

Perfect Paihia

We loved our accommodations. Near town but to the side just enough to feel a sense of space. We fished, beach walked, parasailed and had a relaxing time with our family who live in Whangarei. Lovely host above us. Thanks.

Gem in the Bay Of Islands

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Although the kitchen isn't equipped for gourmet meals, everything else was great; clean and comfortable. Jenny was a friendly and helpful host and genuinely concerned about making our stay memorable. Highly recommended.

Wonderful view, spotless property

Jenny was so easy to communicate with, the bach was ready for our arrival, spotless and one street back from the sea (exactly as described!). We had a lovely stay and would happily come back. Thanks Jenny for even sourcing a highchair for my daughter to use.

This property was perfect for our party of 1 adult and 4 kids. It was easy to arrange sleeping for everyone, cook our meals and walk everywhere we wanted to go. Our host, Jenny, was very friendly and accomodating. She kindly allowed us to leave our vehicle parked in the drive while we were on the Hole-in-the-Rock cruise, even though it was well after check-out time. Would definitely recommend and would stay again! Thank you!

Perfect for us.

Very clean property that was just perfect for our family of four. Great location, approximately 2 minute walk from the shops and cafes. We stayed in January, and despite the warm weather, we found we all slept comfortably by leaving the windows open a little at night.
