Good to know: the king bed is in a sleeping loft reached by a ladder. If climbing a ladder is hard for anyone in your group, please message us before booking. The loft is reached by a very steep ladder with no handrail, and the loft ceiling is very low, so take care climbing up and standing.

Whether you're planning a romantic weekend away, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking to unplug from the pace of everyday life, Cedar Cabin provides the perfect setting.

Inside, you'll find a warm, inviting space with the king bed up in a ladder loft, with modern comforts and intentional design that makes it easy to settle in and feel at home. Outside, you're just steps from nature, with nearby hiking trails, Bastrop State Park, and the charm of historic downtown Bastrop all within easy reach.

Woodland Commons is a shared property, allowing guests to enjoy the privacy of their own cabin while experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding woodland. We kindly ask all guests to be respectful of the shared spaces and of others enjoying their stay.

Please note we are in a rural setting, so you will likely encounter bugs and wildlife, along with animal sounds (dogs / roosters) from surrounding properties.

Clean, feels clean: we use Dr. Bronner's organic castille soaps, Molly's Suds and 100% cotton sheets and towels.
