  • Tenemos un Hale increíble para tu escapada al paraíso tropical. Esta escapada limpia, pintoresca y tropical se encuentra en el lugar perfecto para explorar el lado este de Hawai. Ya sea que disfrute de caminatas, exploración de volcanes, cataratas, esnórquel, kayak o lo que sea que disfrute, este Hale es el lugar perfecto para regresar a casa para relajarse, hacer barbacoas y relajarse después de un día explorando todo lo que Big Island tiene para ofrecer. Ofrecemos una cocina completa, barbacoa, lavadora y secadora, 1 habitación King, 1 habitación Queen, 1 baño completo con medio baño en el lavadero de la cochera. Hemos instalado una nueva ducha al aire libre para su disfrute. La propiedad se encuentra en casi un acre de plantas tropicales, palmeras, aguacates y plátanos. La casa se sienta desde la calle. Está a solo 7 cuadras del océano aprox. 1/4 milla Explore la ciudad de Pahoa con muy buenos restaurantes, un mercado de granjeros todos los domingos, la tienda de comestibles Malama y la estación de servicio a solo 6 millas de distancia. Tenemos una estadía mínima de 3 noches, estadía máxima de 14 días.

    Nuestra área es muy pintoresca, tropical, antigua y tradicional de Hawái. No esperes Waikiki o incluso Kailua-Kona. Hay hermosos paseos a las playas de Black Sands, ropa opcional Kahena Beach y el miércoles por la noche tío Roberts.

    Hilo tiene muchos buenos restaurantes. La playa de Richardson en Hilo es ideal para bucear y la playa de Onekahakaha es ideal para familias, incluidos niños pequeños. Isla del coco es de visita obligada. ¡Este lado de la isla tiene hermosos paisajes y gente amable con el espíritu Aloha!

The house was perfectly prepared for guests. The host had thought of all the little things that people sometimes forget. Home was neat, clean, and comfortable and in a nice quiet street. Convenient location to Volcano National Park and Hilo.

Great place to explore Big Island Beauty

We stayed three nights while exploring the Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea and the Waterfalls. The house had everything we needed , the beds were comfortable and the outdoor space and the Lanai are absolutely gorgeous!

Quiet getaway on the Big Island

The house was in a quiet neighborhood a half mile walk from the Ocean. A clean, comfortable well cared for place. A great location to explore this side of the Island.

Exactly as advertised, nice

Located in a neighborhood, away from traffic, among the trees, roosters, and frogs. Very pleasant stay, great laundry room, and large enough for four of us to not get on each other.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The ocean is about a half a mile walk down the road. Hilo is about a 30 minute drive. It was nice to have air condition in each of the bedrooms and of course the living room. The front porch was so nice. We had breakfast on the front porch in the morning and it was wonderful to listen to the birds and the breeze. This is a very cozy house. We stayed three nights on the Hilo side and then went to the Kona side. On the Hilo side we went to Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, and took a beautiful nature trail hike on Saddle Road, we went to several beaches closer to Hilo, and then we went to the Volcano National Park on our way over to the Kona side. We had a great stay in this home. And it is very well stocked. Thank you, Jerry.

Great location in Puna

The cottage was a great home base for our stay on the Hilo side. The park is a beautiful spot for sunset and wave watching. We really appreciated the outdoor shower and extra bathroom with laundry. Pahoa is fairly close for getting supplies. Would recommend.

Perfect in every sense of a comfortable place to rest and relax. Be aware when they say tropical it’s in a rainy area of Hawaii. And that’s a good thing.

Absolutely Amazing Place

We found the house to be very clean and very comfortable for the 3 of us. We spent our mornings and evenings on the lanai listening to the sounds of nature. The carport was protecting us from rain when we got in/off the car. The addition of A/C to each room was a big plus. We loved everything about this place and definitely would like to return back in the future :)

Great Location

We have been to the Pahoa area before and this house is conveniently located close to town, area shopping and restaurants. The setting is decidedly "rainforest" which makes for a very relaxed setting. The front porch is nice for sitting outside either during the day or evening. Jerry the owner is very easy to work with and the house is completely as described. I know some reviews have noted sounds from frogs and chickens. We really had no problem with this and it adds to the charm of the area. We would definitely go back on a future trip.

Peaceful and perfect

We were incredibly happy with this home. It had everything we needed. Loved having air conditioning. It was clean. Beds were very comfortable. We personally loved tge sounds of the frogs. And we did not have any issues as some stated with roosters but the host has ear plugs in bathroom. We howrver did not need them. Slept wonderful. Will definately stay here again when we come back.

Honey moon in Pahoa

Thoughtful host. First thing I noticed was the earplugs left on the bathroom counter. At first I was confused but then the birds started singing at night. I didn’t need them since I enjoyed it but it was a nice touch

Hawaii Life

The cottage is located in a residential area and within a jungle like landscape. The frog noise (sounded like a bird chirping) never bothered us. The house is fully airconditioned, so no windows need to be opened. Everything is "as was pictured' and described. Very convenient to a shopping area with a very nice market. Immediate response to our two questions. Property is 35mins from Hilo except during rush hour - it can take an hour. During your stay, make sure you take a drive along the "Military Road", a rainforest along a beautiful coastline. Convenient to visit Volcano National park. Parking is covered and on a concrete slab. Neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and family oriented. This place is a Gem.

Very quiet, clean location and great communication with owner.

We spent the bulk of our stay on the Big Island here. Jerry provided very detailed check in instructions and was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Place was very clean which is a big deal for me. Internet is strong which kept the teenagers quiet - always a plus. The Roku allowed my wife and I catch up on shows from the 90's when the day was done. The location, house and communication with Jerry was top notch. Can't recommend the place enough. Also, a nice lookout point at the end of the road, a mile or two away. Definitely worth a return now that I know about Kohala Coffee and Malama Market in Pahoa. That said, it was a little farther out than I expected - but that's more on me not translating distance into drive times. Where I live 100 km (60 miles) equals an hour. Not so in Hawaii. That's not a criticism but it does highlight the need to adjust the internal metrics you may have when you think about driveling around the Islands. Traffic to and from Hilo can be a bit of a bear. But then again, that seemed to be anywhere on the island from what we saw.

Puna Getaway

This is a well-kept spacious place in a lush quiet subdivision--well, quiet in a traffic and safety sense but full of chickens and coqui frogs so not exactly QUIET. But those sounds didn't bother us at all and we never felt like we needed to use the earplugs that were thoughtfully provided by the host. Fully equipped kitchen, one indoor bathroom and one garage/outdoor bathroom, access to washer and dryer. Plentiful towels, bedding, board games, dishes, and even beach equipment. The host provided a great binder full of recommendations, area history and dining menus. We visited in June and the heat was stifling indoors when we arrived but with windows open and fans running it was comfortable. We had a small glitch checking in but messaged the host and he got back to us right away to solve the problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome and at ease there. We would stay there again if in the area.

A PLEASANT VACATION

WELL KEPT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. ONE OF THE NICEST ON TH STREET. NICELY FURNISHED AND STOCKED WILL CONSIDER RETURNING NEXT YEAR, DEPENDING ON COVID CONDITIONS. IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ISLAND AND WE ENJOYED THE CHANCE TO SEE THE BEAUTY OF THE COUNTRYSIDE. LEE AND BECKY
