Harlyn Bay Padstow, Yards from Beautiful Stunning Beach Private Location Garden

Beach Lodge is a semi-detached house built in 2013, one of a small number of properties which is lucky enough to be on level walking distance to Harlyn beach.

Beach Lodge is set back from the hump back bridge - it really is just yards away. It's a perfect base for family holidays, nipping back and to the beach, walkers and couples looking to get away and relax. There are some amazing costal walks either towards Trevose Head or towards Trevone which leads to Padstow. Trevose Golf and Country Club is a mile away, with its champion course, tennis court’s and a fabulous heated outdoor pool in the summer. The Pig restaurant is just up the Hill. The bus stop at Harlyn is just by the bridge.

Beach Lodge offer's 3 bedrooms;
Bedroom 1, is located on the ground floor with a king sized bed and en-suite shower room,
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
There is also a sofa in the snug..
The kitchen is well equipped for your stay.
The family bathroom is white and clean with a tiled floor.
There is a stair gate fitted, a travel cot and highchair for guest to use at the property. Its a comfortable home and we have many repeat bookings.

Outside the garden is a lovely sheltered area, the decking out the front is beautiful on a sunny morning to enjoy breakfast or a late lunch on. The garden is secure and being gated making it safe space for children and dog’s. Please note there is parking for 1 car only.

Dogs are very welcome and there is no additional charge for them, we kindly do ask you to clean up after your dog. Harlyn beach is one of the few beaches in the area which dogs are allowed on all year.

On Harlyn there is Beach Box for a warm drink, or afternoon drink in the summer, Harlyn Surf School, is located on the beach in the main season. Where you can hire paddle boards, kayaks and surf boards. They also offer lessons and tours.
There is private parking for 1 car.

Wow what a location!

Wonderful break with my trusty 4 legged bestie. Having the beach so close was fantastic and lying in bed hearing the waves so relaxing. Ideally placed for great food and other beaches and walks; could not have asked for more, will definitely be back!

Had a great stay. The place was lovely (photos don’t do it justice) plenty of room for everyone . Nice enclosed sitting out area. Down a quiet track but so close to the beach. We love Harlyn so a really good find

Perfect holiday

The lodge was beautifully decorated and looked after with everything you could need. The proximity to the beach and the coast path is a massive plus and the beach is fabulous. The garden area had a sunny aspect all day long which my two dogs just loved.The lodge is close to the beach but being positioned down a private lane it was peaceful and quiet. We really had an amazing stay and have booked again for September.

Fabulous beach location

Fabulous location, cottage comfortable and spotless, kitchen well equipped. Bedlinen and pillows, duvet good quality. Shame no towels provided.Garden not huge but secure and pet friendly, more than adequate with the dog friendly beach less than 5 minutes away. Patio nice and private.Turn into lane and parking for cottage very tight, needs extra care.

Perfect property for the perfect location!

We had a fantastic stay at Beach Lodge for our half term getaway! The house is amazing and had everything you need for a fabulous stay just yards from our favourite beach in Cornwall. Excellent welcome with some biscuit treats for the kids! So lovely that we could bring our dog to enjoy our time away as well. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. We will certainly be back. Thank you!

Good location for beach and property was comfortable

The property was comfortable and functional with all the extras you could need. Its in a great location for spending time on the beach! Our Dog enjoyed it very much! The only thing was the ensuite shower was only giving out cold water and the shower tray wouldn't drain very well. The shower clearly needs replacing and the shower tray some regular unblocking. I would suggest the owners (who live just next door) should do more regular checks on the property to make sure everything is in working order, rather than waiting for guests to report issues. The upstairs shower is ok but positioned very low so not great for anyone over 4 foor tall. There is Sky TV in the property but our viewing was limited by the Sky pin which the owners didnt give us when requested. Overall we enjoyed our stay and with these things resolved would highly recommend to property! Please note there is no mobile phone signal at the property, so switch on Wifi calling!! its better signal on the beach.

Location, location, location

Lovely holiday lodge, suited our family of 6 (from 18 years to 60) perfectly. Very clean with all the facilities we needed. Great garden with BBQ and seating. Totally secure for our dog. Plenty of things to do in the lodge if you have kids. The location of the lodge could not have been better. Only a few steps from the brilliant beach, which is amazing!!!! Dogs allowed all year on it too. Fab beach cafe/bar which does fantastic food - went several times. Loved every second of our stay.

A rare find!

A rare find indeed, genuinely a few yards level walk to a fantastic beach. Soft sand and the opportunity to body board or surf, usually when the tide turns. Otherwise paddle or swim. The real bonus for us was that dogs are permitted all year round on the beach..not often found these days. Hot drinks and food also available. Padstow a quick drive or bus ride with a huge range of eatery’s. Beach lodge was comfortable with sky TV not limited to free view. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, would recommend.

Lovely holiday lodge in a perfect location so close to the stunning beach. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of games, books DVD’s for those travelling with children. Lovely safe enclosed garden which was great for our little dog. Hosts were very kind and accommodating.

We had a great stay at Beach Lodge with our 2 daughters and 5 year old Labrador. The house was cosy and well equipped and the welcome hamper was a treat after a long journey. I would recommend the house and happily stay again.

Brilliant location in Harly

Spacious, warm, clean property very close to Harlyn Bay. We would recommend it especially if you have pets. However, on site parking is limited, there are repairs which need to be done(fences, front door). The lighting at the back is poor and there are several trip hazzards so take a torch.

Fabulous cottage, great location

Stayed for 3nights with my mom and furbabies. Hosts were great, immediate response when I couldn’t work the TV. Location is right next to the beach, so great for swimmers and surfers. The sea was amazing and still warm. The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Lovely to have a downstairs bedroom with ensuite . Thank you so much for the cake, tea and coffee - appreciated.

Stunning area , with practical accommodation

The property is in its own little fenced garden at the back of the owners property but totally separate. It has a bbq and garden furniture. The property is clean and well equipped. We took our 3 dogs which was fab as the lodge has laminate flooring and leather sofas which have both been welll used so we didnt feel like we were top toeing around nice carpets and fabric sofas. I would say its a practical lodge but comfortable . The area is stunning and you really wont want to leave.

Amazing time at Beach Lodge

Another amazing holiday at Beach Lodge, 2nd this year. Weather was super hot this time and the beach was fab with the sea breeze to keep cool 😎 Thank you to Jon & Maria for the yummy cream tea on arrival, it was much appreciated. Love it here & will definitely be back 😊

Perfect location

We had a fabulous week staying at Beach Lodge. It was more than enough space for the 4 of us and the proximity to the beach was a real plus - really easy just to nip down for a paddle or to set up for the day with all our kit. Something that would have made it even better would be to have an outside tap/shower so we could make sure we could get rid of as much sand off us as possible before going inside!

Fab sea side location

Loved the welcome package when we arrived. Much appreciated, Single beds needed new mattress very uncomfortable. Poor quality of bedding - duvet. Accommodation quite tired . Needed freshing up . Loved the garden and bar b q No instructions about recycling - took ours to Tesco to recycle. Excellent for the beach.

Spacious, cosy and well-furnished beach lodge to feel good in close proximity to the beach. Flat is exactly as described, in a good condition. We enjoyed our holiday very much, felt welcome and comfortable and could well imagine coming back again.
