"The location is quiet and off the tourist locale. Cabins RV's, and even stagecoaches. New and clean. The cabins smell of hewn wood. Sundries in the office."

Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful and refilled breakfast food as needed. The hotel is next to a gas station. I would stay here again as it is close to the main street and one can walk to the restaurants in town."

"The cottage was clean and the owner was so nice. The neighborhood was quiet and safe with a very scenic view of the mountains. I recommend it. "

"The room was small and cozy. Nowhere to sit but the bed. Sleeping was quiet and very comfortable. Restaurant doesn’t open until 7:00am to get coffee which is free for guests. Grounds are beautiful and parking was great since each unit has their own parking spot. I would skip the restaurant there if you want a nice dinner. We went to the shops and restaurants up the road to eat and shop. A great variety there! Overall, a nice experience."

"Blood soaked mattresses, blood spatter on the ued skirting. Pee on the bed cover. Beds where never cleaned, and it looked like a murder scene there. Straight out of a horror story!!!"

"The resort is very nice. We had cabin 7 and the view is nice. The resort is about 2 miles from Keystone, 11 miles from Mount Rushmore. Very convent location. We would definitely stay there again."

"Two things I wish I realized before booking. 1. This property is NOT connected to the same building as the pool or the breakfast. You need to walk outside. 2. The breakfast was a Jimmy Deans microwave sandwich, cereal with carafe milk, juice, and a prepackaged Danish pastry. We didn't have hot water day one but the facility fixed that by end of day. The room was nice and clean. We had a full kitchen with basic cookware, living room and two bedrooms. The pool was big, clean, and there were a...

"Room clean but very small. Breakfast was ok. We were riding the train in the morning so location was good. Easy walk into town to eat."

"Confusing parking, not easy to re-lock door. Nasty seasonal large bugs. Dead bugs in room. Expensive for what we got but popular area. But it was quiet and conveniently located."

"We got there just as everything was opening. The lodge is clean , comfortable and helpful in showing us where the outside camp kitchen was in order to grill steaks. Sleeping was a little challenging as a bus full of teenagers pulled up and basically ran up and down the halls and stairs all night. Kids will be kids. I was just wondering where are the adults. It was kinda rude and inconsiderate"

"When we arrived for our 5 night stay, the hotel was closed. We found a worker who verified it was closed and sent us down the street to the Ramada Inn. Come to find out that they had a leak in the sprinkler system which flooded the hotel as they are closed in the winter. We received no notification from Expedia nor Baymont by Wyndham."
