"The staff was alright, but the rooms were very minimal. The beds look and feel like IKEA specials. There was mold growing in the shower. There must not be any insulation in the walls, as I could clearly hear a phone call in the adjoining room and hours worth of children upstairs running and jumping in their room above mine. I suppose if all you want is a room near the beach and don't mind not sleeping, this motel would suffice."

"Simple room. The rooms were very clean, with wood laminate flooring. For an older motel, it was maintained well and looks like the rooms were recently remodeled. We were only three blocks from the beach! I would definitely stay there again."

"You can't be taller than 5'6 to be under the shower. Walls are paper thin and can hear all conversations in the next room. Defiantly bring your own pillow. The Wi-Fi is terrible and you can't watch TV or sign into Netflix it continues to refresh and you have to go out and back in continually."

The bathroom door also had an issue opening properly. We only stayed one night or we would have asked to switch rooms. "We arrived a little early to request a top floor away from the road and we were told it was possible, but would take longer. We said it was not a problem. When we returned later, no rooms were available, and so we waited longer. Nearly an hour later we were given a room facing the frontage road and the freeway. Did not sleep well that night due to the road noise. Hotel was not as clean and maintained as most Hampton Inn. Very disappointing."

Only one pool and hot tub doesn’t fit the status for offering rooms that can hold up to 6 people. Families need more activities. The happy hour social time is a great addition. Our floor had stuff stuck to carpet in room by trash can. Thinking about room allowing pets but only have carpet is a let down.
