Periwinkle Cottage is simply delightful and right in the heart of town, close to all shops and restaurants, and just across from the beach.! You'll feel it the moment you walk in the door. Sit on the large deck and enjoy your favorite beverage as you watch the world go by. This is your own paradise by the sea! This fun and colorful home is very nicely appointed, with a cozy gas fireplace, TV, and complimentary WiFi. The home offers everything you need including a well-equipped kitchen; just bring your food and enjoy your time at the beach.

Periwinkle could very easily become your favorite beach getaway.

The full kitchen does not have a dishwasher.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The information to access the key was incorrect, so we were stuck outside for an hour trying to get ahold of someone from Vrbo to help. The home wasn’t very clean, either. There was dog fur and hair all over the place and food in the microwave. The location was good and the home was cute, but there wasn’t even a door separating the living room from the bedroom, only a curtain that didn’t go all the way across for some sound control.

The lock was not as emailed and i had to call for a different code. However, they were very helpful and i was able to successfully unlock and get into the home. The home was very clean, warm, and welcoming. Definitely will be renting from them again!

Very nice location, walkng distance to beach and small grocery store. Room very clean and items in kitchen to prepare a meal. We would book again and our dog loved the beach and walks along the small town streets.

The info to get into the unit was all wrong. Sounded like it was a different updated lock box. Lucky thing I took the file info to call someone to let me in. She came over right away and let me in. Other than that was a great stay. People were building a deck next to me so noisy but understand things have to be done and probably needed to prior to the bad weather of winter coming soon so not a issue for me.

Lovely little cottage that is pet friendly, . Clean and well equipped, except the toaster didnt work and no coffee filters. Vey comfortable and cozy..very close to beach. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed using the deck. The Surfside Pub is just iup the street as well as a small grocery. We will definitely return.

Pacific Beach is a really calm place and the house is cute. Easy access to the beach and local coffee shop. Something to note... the bathroom sink/bowl was cracked and had leaked below. I let Vasaca know right away and was told someone would contact me to come by evaluate the problem. No one called or came by. As well the light fixture in the bathroom has some kind of short... lights in the fixture were strobbing.. weird. I would visit Pacific Beach again!!

BEACH GET AWAY

Was a cozy and comfortable getaway. The simplicity is exactly what we were looking for. Cute neighborhood and friendly people. Perfect getaway from a busy life. Beachcombing was amazing.

Disappointed

I wanted to love this place. The location was perfect and the cottage was spotless and well appointed, with everything that my pup and I could have needed for our 2-day stay. Unfortunately, we weren't told that the cottage a few feet away on the same property was being renovated. The whole reason I chose this particular spot was because I was looking to get out of the city and experience peace and quiet and the sound of the ocean. Sadly I got none of those. From 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. all I heard was hammers, saws, and drills. Not to mention really loud conversations from the construction crew. Mind you, these men are just doing their jobs so I have absolutely no beef with them. It's just completely NOT what I was looking for on this beach getaway. The deck is gorgeous. Perfect for sitting outside and sipping coffee and contemplating life. Unfortunately I could not do any of that. Likewise, the yard that goes around the entire property would have been lovely for my dog to explore. Sadly, one of the gates had been taken off to get the construction equipment in, so I could not even let him off leash. It makes me sad to write this review because again, the cottage itself is lovely and the location is great. But what I was looking for was a peaceful relaxing time away from the city noise. And that isn't what i got. If I had been told about the construction I could have chosen to stay somewhere else, but since it wasn't disclosed I ended up feeling frustrated and misled.

Sweet Spot in WA Coast

Comfy cabin on the coast. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen was well equipped...just bring an egg pan and an ice cream scoop and you are set. Nice, sharp knives. Lots of towels, TP and dishsoap. WiFi was strong and worked all 7 days. Had problems with keypad lock not working, but Vacasa local staff jumped right on that (TY, Matthew!) Would definitely stay again. Ask for the code to dumpster when you arrive. It came too late for us to use.
