"Lovely spot, great service, good breakfast and a nice room. The rooftop bar was closed one night for an event and it was too windy the next night, so unfortunately didn’t experience it. Good location. The only thing we could comment on is that pillows are too fluffy - not for side sleepers. Would definitely return."

"Nice hotel. Staff was very friendly at check in. We received a champagne welcome and enjoyed the daily wine and cheese reception and evening cookies. Hotel was a good location for us. The beds were comfortable, there was a pillow menu and the bathroom was huge; however the room was a little dark. Overall, would stay here again!"

"What an amazing anniversary celebration we were treated to at the Spectator! So very conveniently located in historic Charleston! Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. From a beautiful in room breakfast, turn down room service with wine and champagne, to romantic craft cocktails at the hotel bar at night, super butler services from lovely Michelle and David, we were so well cared for! And Toby!! Toby gave us a smile at the end of our stay. We will make this an annual trip to the Spectator!"

"The Ansonborough is a unique hotel made with huge old beams yet with a modern vibe. My sister and I stayed in the loft suite which is on two floors with two king size beds. The separation worked perfectly! I was cozy in the loft, could watch the movie I wanted to, and barely heard what my sister was doing downstairs. We both worked out in the small gym in the mornings, served ourselves from the breakfast buffet, and replenished our coffee as much as we wanted. We walked 20 minutes to all the...
