"We had an amazing visit! Our apartment was beautifully equipped and was in an unbelievable location! Everything was walkable and the people in the area were incredibly friendly. We loved hanging out in our apartment and the common areas. We will definitely use Barsala again in other cities - they were phenomenal with our customer service and the place was a 10 out of 10!!!"

"Super clean place, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The access to the covered dock was great for our boat. The landscaping on the property is beautiful, the water fountain feature in front of the cabin is a nice place to sit and relax once the sun goes down. Will definitely be back in the future! "

"Immaculate cabin. This was the perfection we were looking for. A cabin feel through and through. Thoughtfully decorated and not overly done. Felt safe. The drive way is 0.25 mile gravel driveway through the woods. There is a 1.5 mile loop trail in 100 feet in-front of the house. Perfect for walking your pup. And half way through a dog park. "Very secluded and private. Cabin was very nice, comfortable for 2 people.Walk to dock through woods isnt too bad. Weather was sunny our whole trip so did not have any issues with power, generator did kick in every morning for a little bit. Make sure you bring flaslights or some other outdoor lighting, especially if you have dogs because it is very dark at night with only the light from the porch available. Luckily we were prepared. The wifi wasnt working and didnt find it until the last day but...

"Great place to stay for a visit to Durham. The location is close to downtown and Duke campus, the neighborhood was quiet and the space was comfortable. The host was responsive and quick to address an any concerns. We would stay here on our next visit."

"Everything about this stay was amazing - I truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The home had everything we needed, so much so that we didn’t even feel the need to go out yesterday. It was the perfect space for my family, with guests ranging in age from 1 to 71. Super spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. We’ll definitely be staying here again!"

"We all had a good week and a good time at the Cottage. Your house is well suited for our stay, and we appreciate all the amenities you provided. "We loved our stay at this property! My friends and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend swimming, kayaking, and enjoying the sun on the deck and private dock. The outdoor amenities were great. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and tools, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We did have an issue checking in due to the keyless entry getting jammed. "We all enjoyed the comfortable feel of the Log Cabin. The place met all our basic needs; but we do have a few suggestions that we hope the owner will heed for future guests. We would certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for a home-like atmosphere."

"All was ‘as advertised’ "

"We loved the house and being able to dock our boat all week was great. Public boat ramp right across the cove so it was only a couple mins by boat to house. Very quiet neighborhood and all the people in the area were friendly and welcoming. We did not realize that the garage was not accessible and that made unpacking the truck with a weeks work of cloths and food a little more difficult. "
