"Such a lovely cottage. The hen welcoming committee comes around a few times a day to see how you're doing, which our infant loved. The love triangle of golden pheasantsbdarting to and fro in the yard was also entertaining. As our stay was for a conference in Lincoln, we made ourselves at home, making full use of the kitchen and laundry. "Everything you need is there to make your stay memorable. Location to Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Christchurch and surrounds perfect. Airport only 17 mins away. Us Ozzie's found it a bit cold around April with Temps around 3⁰C at night and 15⁰C in the daytime. After we worked out the generous heating appliances supplied in the house. All was fine. Although an electric blanket or two would have not gone amiss."

"The property was extremely nice and comfortable and is also kept very clean and well looked after.It had everything available to use including a washing/dryer combo which came in handy to have clean fresh towels Parking wasn’t an issue. Plenty of off street parking.We would definitely consider staying again on our next visit to Christchurch It’s the perfect place too stay"

"A fabulous place to stay, very clean, kitchen had plenty of equipment and utensils etc, super impressed with the variety of toys for children, a very nice space, plenty of room and fabulous communication with the hosts. Happy to recommend."

"A lovely little cottage. Clean, cosy with a few little luxuries. Only issues were - it is advertised as sleeps 5 on book a bach but only has bedding for 4, however the owner happily sorted an airbed. Toilet paper and dishwashing liquid were in short supply, so we bought our own. However, we would still recommend and stay again."

"Beautifully located next to Mt Richardson DOC area with lots of forest walks at your doorstep. The property is huge and great for adventures for little kids (away from screens). The house is warm and beautifully recently decorated. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. There is no internet available and therefore no smart TV access (not necessarily a bad thing but notable). Would love to stay again in the summer months. "
