  • Acabamos de renovar y renovar este sensacional apartamento de 3 dormitorios en planta baja. Todo es nuevo: hay una cocina y un baño nuevos, todos los muebles nuevos. Está ubicado en una tranquila calle sin salida de Oxford con estacionamiento para 1 automóvil (1 potencialmente más). Wifi rápido ilimitado. 5 minutos a pie de las tiendas Summertown. Canchas de tenis y área de juegos para niños a la vuelta de la esquina. A 100 metros de la parada de autobús con autobuses frecuentes al centro de la ciudad en aproximadamente 8 minutos, el Palacio de Blenheim en aproximadamente 20 minutos. Lo bueno de esto es que está idealmente ubicado, cerca del centro de Summertown, mientras se encuentra en un desarrollo muy tranquilo, ubicado a 60 metros de la carretera principal (Woodstock Road). En el interior, el apartamento ha sido completamente renovado. Hemos re-enlucido, re-cableado, re-decorado y re-alfombrado. También acabamos de instalar una nueva cocina y baño y hemos comprado todas las camas y ropa de cama, muebles, artículos electrónicos, electrodomésticos, ¡todo funciona! Lo que estás reservando es esencialmente un apartamento nuevo (interior). El salón / comedor es luminoso, con ventanas francesas orientadas al sur. La sala tiene una mesa de comedor para 6 personas, 2 sofás, una mesa de café y una cómoda con mucho espacio de almacenamiento. Si tiene ganas de relajarse después de un día explorando las delicias de Oxford, hay un nuevo televisor de 40 "con suscripciones de Netflix y Amazon Instant Video. La cocina es nueva y está bien equipada con todos los electrodomésticos nuevos, incluidos lavavajillas, lavadora / secadora, nevera / congelador, hervidor de agua, tostadora, cafetera de filtro y horno eléctrico y placas de inducción. También hay una buena selección de platos, vajillas, ollas y sartenes, para que pueda cocinar como lo haría en casa. (Si prefiere no hacerlo, no se preocupe: ¡el área cuenta con una buena variedad de opciones de entrega para la cena!). Todas las habitaciones dan a un tranquilo jardín. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama doble y armario empotrado. Una segunda habitación doble tiene dos camas individuales y un armario. El tercer dormitorio tiene una cómoda cama individual, armario y escritorio. Hay un baño nuevo, moderno y de buen gusto con todos los accesorios y accesorios nuevos. Hay un baño amplio con ducha de techo muy potente. Afuera, el apartamento se encuentra en un desarrollo tranquilo y agradable a la salida de Woodstock Road en Summertown. El desarrollo está rodeado de atractivos jardines bien cuidados. Adyacente al desarrollo se encuentra una excelente área de juegos infantiles, canchas de baloncesto y tenis. Very comfortable apartment in a great location in North Oxford/Summertown. Close to major roads near Oxford and a key bus route but very quiet. Excellent communication and assistance from the owner. Well equipped. Amazing power shower! We would happily stay again.

The apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable. A little more cutlery would have been appreciated, that’s all.The location was excellent, with a very reliable bus service just outside and taking no more than 10 mins into the city centre.I did experience some difficulty using the Vrbo app and would have found it helpful to have had more direct communication from the host leading up to our stay, via text or email messaging.Otherwise, very happy and had a great stay, thank you.

Oxford Pleasure

The property was perfect for our one week stay in Summertown Oxford. Very comfortable and good value. Modern kitchen and bathroom and two very comfortable couches. Beds were comfortable and had nice linen. Thank You.

Highly recommend a stay

Danny was a very responsive host. Rental was just as described, clean, comfortable and near public transportation. Easy commute to Oxford and trains to London. Easy walk to an express grocery store. Parking for your car. Highly recommend.

Very good quiet location. City centre can be reached on foot or by bus

We liked the flat very much. Oxford has a lot to offer and there are supermarkets, cafes and various restaurants in the neighbourhood. Walks are easily possible. The bus to the city centre or Blenheim stops just a few metres away. Contact with the landlord was always prompt and friendly. We can recommend the flat.

Comfortable apartment in an outstanding location

We really loved the quiet location of this apartment. The bedrooms all backed to a garden area. The apartment was comfortable. It was literally only a hundred feet to the bus stop to Oxford center. There were several very nice restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, along with grocery stores, patisseries, etc. Tolkien's grave was a morning stroll away. All in all, we were very pleased!

Fantastic Place in Oxford

We are so glad we booked this apartment for our five-day visit to Oxford. We are a family of four with two sons (11 and 14) and loved that apartment provided space enough for us to spread out and have some downtime after a lot of travel togetherness. The beds are super comfortable and being a newly-remodeled place, everything is exceptionally clean. The location is outstanding, just steps from the bus stop into Oxford, and the stores of Summertown are just a few blocks walk away. We can't say enough good about Danny as an owner. Communication with him was fantastic both before and during our stay. We will definitely rebook!

This is a marvelous apartment. The location is wonderful -- just around the corner from South Parade street where there are a couple of great restaurants, and at the other end of South Parade are the shops on Banbury Road, including 3 excellent grocery stores. The bus into Oxford stops right at the corner of the street the apartment is on, so about a 1-minute walk from the door, and the bus back stops right across the Woodstock Road. This is just about the ideal location -- close enough to make getting into the city centre simple and quick, but just far enough out to be away from the tourist crowds. The apartment is comfortable, well-furnished, and spacious, with three bedrooms. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking or for reheating leftovers from the nearby restaurants, with crockery and cutlery for five and sufficient pots, pans, and utensils to facilitate cooking. The refrigerator is large, and the washer-dryer is a great plus since there's no launderette nearby. The best thing about the apartment, though, is Danny, the owner. He was exceptionally helpful from the time we made our reservation, answering various questions, and equally so throughout our stay. We had a couple of glitches and he responded immediately, even coming over one evening at 8:30. We travel a lot, and Danny was without question the most helpful host we have ever had. We hope to return to Oxford next year, and if we do we will certainly stay here again.

Location, location, location

Property was as expected. Clean and tidy and very convenient for the walk into Summertown and the bus into Oxford. The rooms were not huge but it was ideal for our short visit (family of 5) to Oxford. Danny was contactable and very responsive. He was also very flexible and helpful when we needed to slightly change our dates. Thank you, Danny!

What I like most about the property is that Danny is very very responsive to our messages. He went extra miles to provide us information regarding the city of Oxford. He is very helpful. The unit itself is clean, well maintained. There is one minor thing that could improve our experience, which is to add a small cabinet, or a few shelves in the bathroom. There is extra empty space in the bathroom, so this is doable. As of now, when we take a shower, there is no place for us to store our clean clothes when we take a shower. My solution was to lay a clean tower on the floor, and store our clothes there when needed. Obviously, that is not ideal. This is a small issue for a short term visitor.

Great apartment 20 minutes walk from Oxford & 5 minutes walk from nearest shops

The apartment is newly decorated with comfortable beds and good quality appliances. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and has french doors that open up to a small front garden that catches the sun on an evening- ideal for enjoying a few drinks after a day of sightseeing. There was no parking permit available for the car when we stayed, but there is a decent sized garage (long enough for a large estate car) to park in. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this apartment again if I was stopping in Oxford.
