"We were traveling with a small dog (six pounds) and selected the hotel based on pet friendliness. All the staff who met our dog were kind and happy to see her. The staff, in general were really very helpful and went out of their way to make the three of us welcome and comfortable. The property is well located. The bathroom facilities were modern and worked as expected. Bedding was very good. Everything is new and there are some minor punch-list type items, but nothing significant. Breakfast is...

"Staff was great and helpful, weekend bar tender didn't seem to know what she was doing making mixed drinks,and was consistently trying to close early. "

"The pool and hot tub area were overwhelming chlorinated and ruined my swimsuit. It also caused us physical discomfort. We were in there about five minutes and had to leave. Should not have been open. The breakfast was not good, no continental style choices and hot food was not good. Staff was friendly, Hotel was clean and nice. It was a shame but if asked I would not stay here again."

"Staff was very nice. Property and room was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were pretty soundproof. One thing to note that surprised us was you have to pay to park, which is pretty unheard of it Troy Michigan. Found that to be absurd."

"Room was awful. Smelled - wet towels shoved in closet with pipes. Cracks everywhere loud. TV didnt work- asked for help and maintenance- no resolution. Housekeeping came on day 4 of 5 day visit for trash. Looks better online than in person. I would NOT return."

"My stay at the Red Roof Inn was overall great. The room was comfortable, clean, and the staff was friendly. The only issue I had was with the early check-in policy. I called a day before arriving and was told by one employee that there would be no fee for early check-in, but when I arrived, another worker charged me for it. That was disappointing because I was given different information beforehand. Aside from that misunderstanding, my stay was pleasant."

"Walking distance to literally everything. Beautiful clean safe and polite staff. As a traveling single female artist, I felt 100% comfortable here and will stay again upon my return"
