"We found the cabin to be clean and the beds comfortable. The communication from the owners was excellent and the keys were right where they said that they would be. There was a nice looking fireplace, but we could not take advantage of it as we did not bring anything to start a fire. But it is a nice amenity to have. A couple of improvements that we would suggest: Better outdoor lighting. What is there is adequate but could be improved. Maybe provide signage to let folks know where to park? We...

"This was the perfect getaway for us! The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed! The cabin was close to lake placid and hiking trails. The hosts are very kind and responded to any concerns/questions I had. They take great care of this place and make the cabin feel like home! "The Riverfront Retreat was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking and enjoying a trip to Lake Placid.
