"Our stay was amazing, although the road noise in the two front rooms where annoying I guess it's only until the road is opened again on state highway 1. The venue was lovely and we all enjoyed the 1920s theme, we even dressed in period clothing for dinner on the sat night. The house was well set up with everything we needed, and close to visiting the mountain. I would recommend this venue, especially for large groups."

"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "

"We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. "

"This is a quiet but spacious and charming house very suitable for a family group or group of friends. We were all very comfortable here. Close to some good walks, golf and good restaurants (and the big vegetables) in Ohakune. A little late learning about access details, but once we made contact with Mike he was extremely friendly and helpful."

"This is a basic family Bach. Nothing flash, but it was just right for our little group to stay for a couple of nights while skiing in the daytime. Easy access and parking. Lovely and warm. Fantastic communication with the owners."

"Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. Definitely want to come back and enjoy the place more fully, including the hot tub!Sienna was fantastic to deal with.Many thanks ."

"Lovely managers (who also bring you food to feed the animals), super clean property and able to utilised by lots of people doing different things. Great place to stay and we will definitely be back."

"Great, good value house with plenty of amenities. Would have been good to have a smart tv to login to our Netflix etc. accounts and a little more space in the lounge. Our party was nine adults which was pushing the limits a little. A standalone dryer would also have been useful."
