"Quite poor. The most uncomfortable bed I slept in, had a loose cable on the outside bang on the window all night, plumbing was making really loud noises that kept waking me up. In terms of cleanliness, mould in the bathroom, could see someone else shaved there as there was lots of cut hair on the floor. Overall, if it wasn't for the staff being very polite, it would've been a 1 star"

"When I came into the hotel and was given my room key, the first thing I noticed was the smell of dampness in the room. The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. "This was a great hotel for the night. Our sea facing room was very reasonably priced, massive, beautifully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and allowed us early access to the room and to leave our cars in the car park the next day while we went for a walk The hotel is situated just a short walk to access the coastal pathway that takes you sea front/pier area, and from there you can loop into the town itself. I'd highly recommend staying...

"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."
