"I wish there was shampoo and conditioner. The building was quite old and you could see where repairs had been made on the ceiling and walls. The woman who checked us in was very helpful. Quite busy area but was easy on and off highway."

"The property is right by the lake. The rooms are very clean. We checked in Thursday evening on 7/16. The lady who checked us in was rude, sassy, and was not very friendly. She seemed tired and frustrated. The young man who was also checking people in was very friendly and funny."

"We have stayed at the Burgundy Hotel many times when coming to Little Rock. It's very conveniently located and the rooms are nice. Diara, one of the associates at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Overall, our stay went well. Just one hiccup- we were traveling with our pet Maltese, and I call ahead to find out the hotel's policy and was told that the pet fee would be $200 at which point I asked if it was refundable and the associate checked with a manager while I was on the phone...

"The breakfast was excellent. Location was very good. The only complaint was the dampness of the room (306) and the musty smell. After taking a shower, it was almost impossible to remove the steam from the room. The bathroom vents were not very useful, and there was no window to open. The air conditioning worked, but did not seem to pull the humidity from the air."

"What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful."
