Interlude excursion

We never got to use it cancelled Friday morning left us high and dry some people were already in route . Terrible customer service never offered to help find alternative accommodation. Fortunately we got 3! Hotel rooms these plans were made in August. Some flew in to Syracuse for it. Was refunded I guess haven’t seen it yet

The house was dirty and filthy when we arrived. House messy and unkempt, not ready for the paying renters, unbelievable! The kitchen sink, plate rack and placemat have molds. All bedsheets and comforters were not laundered, smelly like were used and were not changed and washed. One of the comforters had bloody spots like from having period. Disgusting! Floors and rugs filthy, pillows have no pillow cases and no garbage can in the upper washroom. Pillows and beds are old and thin! We have to wash the bedsheets ourselves! Used tissue/napkins squeezed at the inside edge of the couch in basement and couches have crumbs dirt and dust. This is not a luxurious house as advertised.! Very deceptive. Truly disappointing. I contacted vrbo We were there for our son's wedding so we have no choice but to stay because wedding was next day. Added more to my stress as we were not able to sleep because we have to wash the filthy bedsheets! Embarrassing for my guests who were all tired from their trips! NOT recommended.

Family reunion

The house is well laid out, comfortable and new. However, it is not equipped as it should be - examples: no dressers, night tables, no closet in the basement, one dish towel, no items like vegetable peelers, bread knife, foil, plastic wrap, kleenex, there were six glasses and six mugs but they advertise that the house can sleep up to 12, kitchen table is very small with only four chairs, no garbage cans in any bathrooms, nothing in the large back yard with only two small chairs to sit on, air conditioner unit going up the stairs but no air vents on the main level so it was hot. When the host was contacted a few minutes after arrival and asked about the air conditioning, dish towels, etc., she replied very quickly that there were lots of towels in the basement (but there were no dish towels). She did not address the air conditioning issue and did not communicate with us for the duration of our stay. While I would recommend this house for the location and layout, I cannot recommend it because of the the lack of basic necessities and amenities. Hopefully these issues will be addressed for future renters!

Owner cancelled last minute

Owner cancelled the booking 5 hours before check-in. Prior to that, tried to follow up but he/she was not reachable may it be thru Vrbo app or phone. The cancellation email says that the reason for cancelling was wind damage but we were able to reach the property and there were no apparent damages on the property like claimed. Just so unprofessional and disappointing. Not the most pleasant experience when you are a party of 16 (family and friends) and you're left hanging for hours.

SCAM!

I was unable to contact the property owner to obtain entry details. By 8 AM the day of, I was forced to contact customer service and scramble to find a new place to stay. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. Completely ruined our weekend.

Great house! I would definitely book it again.

I booked the place for my family and friends that came to visit me in town. We honestly loved the place! The owner was very helpful and accommodating. If I could give it a 120/100 i would!!! If it’s still available I would definitely book it again in the future. It was totally worth it!
