  • This beautiful cottage has a huge half wrap around deck with a fabulous view of a serene harbour on the Bras D'Or Lakes. A new build, it boasts a south-facing wall of glass overlooking the Bras D'Or. Roomy, with a fully equipped kitchen which is completed with a rock maple topped island. The large bathroom boasts a glass-fronted walk-in shower with a bidet. A Custom-made maple vanity completes the luxury. Separate well-lit bedroom. With this cottage, comes your own lane to the harbour, with a wharf In summer.

Wonderful updated lakefront cottage. Friendly and and generous host had stocked refrigerator with farm fresh eggs, milk and butter. Overall well-stocked pantry. Access via ferry is easy, fast, and free. Efficient ferry system takes less than 10 minutes and runs 24-7, so don't let that deter you. Convenient to both Cabot Trail and Louisbourg Fortress. Would stay again.

Cabin was perfect for two people. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked including complementary fruit. WiFi worked well. Enjoyed our two days.

Veronica's Place was a beautifully appointed cabin in Cape Breton. It had full cell and Internet coverage. The surrounding roads were easy to travel, access to provisions nearby and the Bird Island Boat Tour made for a lovely side activity. Our host was very welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend this holiday location.

Very clean and brand new cottage. The Host gave us a warm welcome and gave us directions for different restaurants and grocery shops near by. The bed was very comfortable and there is a large deck and chairs. The fridge had butter, milk, eggs for us aswell as water. Also coffee and different options of coffee, tea. Thanks Sylvie and Paul

Great central location for seeing everything we wanted to see on Cape Breton. The best stocked kitchen of all the places we have stayed. Very clean, beautiful view, quiet and peaceful.

Great place with all the amenities and a great view! A great hostess, a fridge full of the essentials, quiet and peaceful. The only negative is that is not close to major attractions. But if you are spending a few days in the area.. superb! We visited Louisbourg, Baddeck (don't forget the Alex Bell museum) Skyline Trail, museum 3 Pignons- all very interesting but in different directions.

Superbe endroit pour passer une semaine situé au milieu de l'ile du Cap Breton permettant de visiter tous les secteurs de l'ile. Le chalet est d'un confort remarquable et l'accueil par la propriétaire digne de mention.

Veronica's place was extremely clean and well appointed. Very cute little cottage with all of the amenities including beautiful views of the lake. Our host was extremely welcoming and our only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

Stunning

It is a beautiful place it had everything you could possibly need to have a relaxing stay. The host is friendly and knows alot about the area. Check out Darby kitchen the ladies are so sweet.

Cottage with a view

Lovely cottage with an amazing view. The host thought of everything including a well stocked pantry in case you don’t get groceries before you arrive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend it to our family and friends.

There's nowhere else I'd rather stay!

The cottage and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. Aileen maintains a beautiful property, and is nearby to help with any needs. I've stayed in several locations across Cape Breton Island, and this is by far my favourite.

A cozy cottage by the water - very quiet - close to Cabot Trail and Sydney NS - cottage equipped with everything imaginable! Very very clean - it would/could be called a “hidden gem”- comfortable bed and absolutely best bathroom ever! Will definitely stay here again if available!!
Everything you need is in this kitchen!!!
Lots of hot water and the pressure of water is super strong

Lovely place with great views, quiet and relaxing. Wonderful host . Well stocked with thoughtful treats. A great place to rest and recharge. Great location. If you’re looking for a place to getaway this is it.

Cottage by Bras D'Or

Aileen was a wonderful host and her modern cabin has everything you need for a memorable stay exploring Cape Brenton Island. Pub (Fiddle & Folk), cafe (Darby's) and Co-Op supermarket a short drive away.

Cabot trail tour

Awesome place with great views. Cottage is set up for anyone who may have forgot anything. Well stocked and very clean. We had a great time touring the area and visiting local attractions. Definitely recommend it and will keep it in our list for a return trip down the road.
