"This was one of our favourite stays in New Zealand. The view of the surrounding farms, treed hills, and mountains was stunning. The host supplied a basket of goods to make breakfast, which was lovely. We fell in love with Frankie, their farm cat, and enjoyed cuddles on the deck with her and her kittens. Beautiful citrus trees and landscaped areas created privacy from the farm and host. It was close to town and local sites."

"Lovely property, friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed at the Rob Waddell Lodge which is a great place for large families such as ours. Amazing views of the lake and very well equipped with everything. Will definitely return and recommend this place to others. "

"Te Tiro was a lovely place to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. To maximize your relaxation time I would note that the nearest grocery is ~30 min drive away, so best to come stocked. "

"We Absolutely loved every bit of the location, the quietness, and the very awesome hosts, stew and lucia. Stewart came to greet us , on our 2nd night he even came and joined us around his pitfire , best stay away we have ever had, you felt very welcome , and the sleeping , wow , never slepted so blissfully. "My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches.
