"This was one of our favourite stays in New Zealand. The view of the surrounding farms, treed hills, and mountains was stunning. The host supplied a basket of goods to make breakfast, which was lovely. We fell in love with Frankie, their farm cat, and enjoyed cuddles on the deck with her and her kittens. Beautiful citrus trees and landscaped areas created privacy from the farm and host. It was close to town and local sites."

"This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. "Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. "Thanks for an awesome long weekend - we explored a little bit of Cambridge & discovered how cool it was. The local shops, Saturday market & bike hires were all really easy. There’s a great Lake walk minutes away & amazing local Italian for dinner. Thanks for making it easy to enjoy. The fresh flowers in the rooms were a lovely, welcoming touch."

"From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with this place, such a great feel, amazing view, and cool vibe. We wanted a base to explore Waitomo caves, comfortable and dog friendly, this ticked the boxes. Furnished comfortably, warm and clean. Only needed to bring our food and personal items, linen and towels were privided. If youre looking for a place to relax and step back from the bustle, this place is perfect"

"Had a fantastic stay. The home was warm and dry, and well equipped with all the kitchen stuff, comfortable beds, and plenty of space inside and outside. Great stay!"

"A fantastic stay, we booked for two nights but loved it that much we asked to stay another night, it was almost two! Perfect for a couple of friends, two rooms, comfy beds and plenty of towels. The Spa amazing! There is limited wifi signal an old TV and a selection of DVD's and some games, so not for you if can't unplug. We found it warm, cosy and would highly recommend, plus Sue was great to deal with. A perfect spot. "
