"This is one of the most stocked kitchens of a rental I've ever experienced. My husband and I enjoy cooking when away and were very pleased to have access to all the kitchen tools. The knives were actually sharp which has never been the case. We bought fresh lobsters in town and did our own lobster rolls which was possible due to the stocked kitchen. "Beautiful property on a crystal clear lake. Despite being dog-friendly, there were no signs or smells of dogs haven been there. Place was very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Couches were comfy. Nice outdoor seating areas. Close to Ellsworth restaurants, fairly close to Bar Harbor. Went in latter half of October, happy to still see the beautiful colors of fall. "Everything couldn't have been more perfect! The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! "
