The Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula is located between Rostock and Stralsund.
You can reach Prerow via the B 105, taking the Löbnitz exit and heading toward Barth, or taking the Altheide exit and then proceeding via Bäderstraße. Prerow is very centrally located and, in addition to its white sandy beach, offers many excursion options, such as the Maritime Museum, the Ozeaneum, the “Hanse Dom” water park in Stralsund, the Marlow Bird Park, Karl’s Adventure Village in Rövershagen, and much more. In the spring and fall, you can observe cranes. The surrounding area is perfect for long bike rides.
