"Cozy, clean and quiet. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Clear sandy bottom and shallow along the shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking and even caught a few sunnies! We made most of our meals at the cabin but did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction for a couple of awesome burgers and a quick stop at Hayslips Corner just down the road. "Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!"

"Came for a fishing trip and this is a great location...centrally located to all the big lakes we wanted to fish."

"Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many...

"Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!"

"This was our 2nd stay and this is one of our absolute favorite rentals! This is the perfect location to relax and enjoy a quiet lake while still being minutes away from a grocery store! Our pups got to swim almost every day and there were plenty of paddleboards for the humans as well. The cabin sleeps so many people without feeling cramped but it also feels cozy with just two. You can sit on the dock and watch the fish, the water is crystal clear! There really isn't anything bad to say about...

"The property was well maintained and easy to use for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed pots/pans/dishes/utensils. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The listing wasn’t completely clear that the property was a part of a larger condo building with other guests staying right next door and there were a lot of flies and beetles on the floors and walls. "

"Loved the tiny cabin. Was clean and comfortable (the AC was a blessing). The only drawback was that we couldn't have a fire due to no firestarter in the cabin. Also, the phone number listed in the guest book for the host, is not correct so we had ZERO communication with the host. "
