This is a highly desirable location for families to enjoy everything Lake of the Ozarks has to offer BOTH ON and OFF the water! The property is at mile marker 22 in a quiet, protected cove where you can safely swim, kayak, and fish. We are also just moments from the main channel by boat & close to Redhead Lakeside Grill & Yacht Club, Shorty Pants, Margaritaville, and Dog Days restaurants. This is the perfect spot to enjoy water sports, fishing, hiking, and exploring the nearby parks and caves. With easy access to HWY 54, its just a short drive to restaurants, shopping, amusement parks and more!

BE OUR GUEST!
This clean and inviting home has 2000 sq. ft. (sleeps 12-16) and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway with family or friends! The open floorplan has two levels which make it easy to spread out and allow the adults & kids to have their own spaces. There are two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. Downstairs has another full bath, two bedrooms, plus a fun bunk room that the kiddos will love!

You will feel right at home in the fully equipped kitchen including a coffee bar, toaster, blender, crockpot, electric skillet, and spices. A gas grill and Blackstone griddle with propane are also available for your use. Indoor dining table seats 6, plus 4 additional stools at the counter. There is an 85" Smart TV in the main living area, and a 75" Smart TV in the downstairs family room with Wii console, and DVD player. Board games, cards, dominos, DVDs, and books are all available for guest use.

The main level COVERED DECK and lower level COVERED PATIO have many table/seating options for you to enjoy the lake views and magnificent sunsets.

Other Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, Linens & towels, Washer/Dryer w/detergent, Beach towels, Hair dryers, and a lighted Vanity Mirror in each bedroom.

Parking: The driveway has room for 4-5 vehicles.
Note: There is no boat trailer parking on-site. PB2 Boat Launch (3 miles by land) offers trailer parking $10 Fee per night.

PRIVATE DOCK & SLIP
Bring the Boat! You will have access to a Private Dock with 10' x 24' slip, Jet Ski Dock, and spacious Swim Platform -including Wet-steps, dive platform, lily pad, three kayaks, a stand up paddle board, noodles, floating saddles, deck chairs, and a picnic table. Great fishing off the dock too - bring your poles! (Jet Ski and Boat Rentals are available at several nearby locations.)
NOTE: the home is located on a gentle lot, making an easy, short walk to the dock - no steep steps or hills! This is a rare find in the Ozarks!

The house was perfect for our family. 6 adults and 6 grandkids 2-11yrs old. Their was plenty of space for quite time after hours of fun on the lily pad, kayaks and jumping off the platform. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Having the Blackstone and the grill was great for cooking for a crew. We will definitely book a stay for next years vacation.

Wonderful stay at this property. It was the perfect weeklong lake getaway for our family and friends before the school year starts back up. The house is clean and packed with amenities. We brought our jet skis and rented a boat from a local marina. There was a dock for everything. Our kids fished, swam, jumped, kayaked, jet skied and we all floated off the dockside. The location was perfect/calm with easy access to the main channel of water. We boated to various bar/restaurant locations and anchored in nearby coves to hang out/float. Some of us even visited the near by Bridal Cave. The wildlife surrounding the property was beautiful. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great stay!

We had a lovely time at Sunset Hollow. Our family (ages 0-40) had a great time. The house was well kept. Beds were all super comfortable. I appreciated the gates on the stairs and upper deck. We had a handful of toddlers with us and the gates provided some security with keeping track of the kids. The dock was wonderful and had everything you needed to float and enjoy the water. We loved our stay and would highly recommend for families.

Perfect location on lake

The house and property were very nice. Only problem was getting home on 4th when cars were parked at another house. Had to go ask them to move a car in order to get to our driveDock was equipped nicely with water floats.Lily pad was torn in middle but we were able to use it anyway.Instructions on stripping bed was a little confusing as some of us just took sheets and others stripped bed of mattress pad and top blanket

Great family lake vacay!

We had the best time staying at Sunset Hollow! The listing was exactly as described. We had 15 people stay 10 adults and 5 children and everyone had bed space. House was clean and kitchen well stocked with cooking gear (which is not always the case at rentals!) The cove is perfect for swimming off the dock. We rented a boat from a marina close by and spent time cruising the lake and trying out restaurants for lunch. Highly recommend this place and our family hopes to return next summer!

Family Vacation 2025

This home and location were better than we could have imagined! Being on the lake and having a dock to play off of was optimal to everyone's enjoyment.We had more than enough room for sleeping. The teens stayed on the main floor bunks and the littles stayed in the lower level bunks. All the adults had a room and we were very comfortable!!I know this listing said they had a well stocked kitchen but I'm always afraid they won't have the one thing I need so I end up bringing lots of my own things. It was stocked with everything we needed. This kitchen even has a meat thermometer!I prepared all breakfasts and dinners for the family and there was plenty of seating for us at meals. Kids loved sitting on the upper deck table. The memories we made are truly priceless!! We would definitely go back to this home

Sunset Hollow was great. The lake and dock were a few short steps from the house. We all enjoyed the lily pad, kayaks and paddleboard. There were plenty of floaties for everyone. The view from the deck was beautiful. We enjoyed meals and coffee outside each day.

Family Vacation in July

Our four generation family vacation stay at this home was perfect. It set back enough in the cove that our tritoon was not affected by the main channel waves yet deep enough to dive off the dock for swimming. The two refrigerators were awesome to have as we kept our food in one and drinks in the other. We all had a great time.

The house and dock were well equipped and great for all ages. The cove was calm enough at all times for safe swimming and kayaking. On the upper level, the door thresholds entering the bedrooms and the trim from tile to carpet needs to be addressed. There were screw heads that were not flush. A few of us tripped or cut toes/feet at these areas. The amenities were great. One kayak did not have a paddle. We purchased one and left it. A trampoline was listed, but there wasn’t one. One full day and part of a second, we were unable to leave the house due to the access road being resurfaced. If the owner is made aware of the county schedule, the renter should be told. We had reservations for the cave tour the second day. If the reservation had been the first day, we would have not been able to go and would have lost $300

Family Reunion in LOTO

We had a wonderful time at the Lake the week before July 4th. The property was beautiful, in a quiet bay, with tons of indoor and outdoor amenities. Our group ranged from 70 years old to 11 months old and the home was comfortable for all. Host was very responsive and helpful, which allowed for us to enjoy our trip.

Perfect Family Lake House!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Hollow. The house was perfect for us- two bunk rooms for kids, 3 extra bedrooms for the adults and beautiful lake views. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed! The cove was quiet and we all enjoyed the dock and kayaks. The location was close to a boat rental facility and restaurants. Cyndi was quick to reply to any questions we had and was very helpful. We will be back to this house!

Lake House with all the supplies/amenities!

The house was perfect for the group of family & friends for a 50th birthday getaway! Absolutely loved and enjoyed the house and all the accommodations! Most of all enjoyed the short walk down some stairs and onto the private dock to swim and enjoy the lake! It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. I highly recommend this lake house if you have a large group and want a place located in proximity to restaurants, amenities, marinas, etc. The house is updated, very clean, and has everything you need in terms of kitchen supplies, BBQ grill, bedding, life jackets, kayaks, and everything in between. Great Lake view, awesome dock, and nice deck and patio. The booking and check in process was seamless. Overall, a very well managed VRBO.

Clean and Convenient

It was a great alternative to staying at Margaritaville! The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything for cooking. There was plenty of room for us to visit inside and outside. While we didn't spend any time on the dock or water, the cove was quiet and peaceful...perfect for remote work or reading a book.
