"It is a historic place. Everyone in Syracusa knows this hotel. There is wonderful breakfast. Rooms are unique and beautiful. We had two rooms that connected with a hallway. Loved the grand staircase. Easy to walk everywhere in Ortigia. "

"This is a small but fantastic hotel. The location is great- amazing views of the water and easily walking distance to restaurants and shops and all of Ortigia. The breakfast is on the top floor with windows overlooking the sea. The food was good- only complaint is the eggs were always cold. There was fresh juice, all kinds of coffee and tea. "Absolutely recommend this hotel. In great location, garden room was nice and quiet (requested a quiet room and hotel accomdated it, which really appreciated it). Bed is very comfortable (not super soft which provide a great support for my back. Duvet and bedding are also comfortable. Pillows are on the slight firm end but still okay. Room is beautifully decorated. Breakfast also had loads of options. The only slight downside was one day the room has been made up but no fresh towels were...

"Dette er det mest spesielle hotellet jeg har bodd på. Ingen luxus, men utrolig mye sjel og en helt spesiell opplevelse! Nydelig sted og veldig god service. Er et gammelt adelshus, med en koselig bakhage. Ligger midt i smørøyet i den gamle delen av Siracusa. Er en del trapper og har ikke restaurant/bar så vær obs på det. Men opplevelsen er svært autentisk og noe man husker lenge! "

"Steps away from the Sea. Beautiful view out my Window of the water and rocks. Walk to castle! Friendly staff, lovely room. Wake up early to see incredible sunrise! Just be sure to put clothes on before you take photos of view lol. Early morning walkers! They let me leave luggage in dining area for the day after I checked out. All good! No elevator so good exercise!"

"My husband & I stayed 2 nights in mid-May 2025. We loved this historic and fascinating B&B within a current convent (yes, we saw the nuns!). Comfortable 2nd floor room that opened onto a quiet, shared, shaded terrace. There’s also a ln upper terrace with seattle & sea views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Note: wifi was very unreliable. We parked our rental car at the Talete garage about 10 minutes walk, for €15 per 24 hrs. Overall, this was a great location for us in Ortigia."

"Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront with parking (paid) just in front. Excellent service and breakfasts. Room elegant with high ceilings but would benefit from air conditioning for the summer months. Easy walking to seafront and around Ortigia. "

"This was a great place to stay. The location is terrific. In a really nice part of the island with lots to see and do. The staff was extremely helpful. The building has ultra security. If you are driving your car it is difficult to find as the street names are non existent but once you get there it is very comfortable. "

"Overall fantastic location. Warning for those with cars, the parking is very limited so I strongly recommend making arrangements before arriving. Also, the property is located in an area where cars are not allowed so be prepared to walk with your luggage to the property."

"Bon séjour à proximité des édifices à visiter. Localisation parfaite et calme du lieu. Personnel agréable et qui vous permet un stationnement en ZTL (déclaration faite à votre arrivée). Excellent petit déjeuner. "
