"Room overlooking the Lake was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic and the bar was top notch. Great location, walking distance into the City Center of Lecco, and a short bus ride away from Bellagio. Great food options nearby as well. Would love to come stay here again. "

"Lovely, quiet stay, good breakfast and breathtaking view! Just a heads-up, there’s no ramp at the entrance, so you’ll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. A/C wasn’t available during our stay either. The weather was nice for keeping the windows open, but with allergy season, it’s kind of a trade-off: either close the window and deal with the heat, or open it and deal with allergies."

"Our room was beautiful with a fantastic huge terrace overlooking the lake. The front staff at the hotel were wonderful. Our only issue was at the restaurant which I don’t know if they are connected to the hotel or not, but the food was terrible even though it was a gorgeous view."

"The residence is around 25–30 minutes above Lecco and offers stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and a freshly cooked breakfast made to order. The online reviews are accurate, and both the hotel and previous guests strongly recommend travelling by car, as taxis can cost €35–45 each way and many firms are reluctant to travel up to the property. "Fresh home cooked breakfast. Amazing welcome and friendly staff. Lucia and Luca were very attentive. Large suite with a patio. 2 minutes walk to the station and they have parking on site. Lots of eating options in the town. We will definitely stay again next time visiting the Lakes. "

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"Street parking was better than covered parking offered. Mattress and bedding needed replacing with new. Room and bathroom were clean. No one was at the property to greet us. However, they communicated by email promptly. Fabiola, our host, was delightful. Her breakfast was wonderful."
