"we chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool that we wanted to use. When we got there we found out that winter hours for the pool it is only open on Friday and Sat. Why are there winter hours for an indoor pool? Breakfast was ok, coffee was great. "

"Idk how this place got over an 8 for rating. Blankets had cigarette burns, shower head looked like it was from the 50's and it was barely attached to the wall. The property in general just looked and felt dirty. Elevator was pretty sketchy as well. "

"My family and I had a great experince. Rooms and other hotel areas were clean, laundry room for guest is available but you do have to pay for its use. The breakfast was a unexpected surprise; it was delicious and a good variety. The pool was great, however the hot tub was extremely hot. Overall this was a great place to stay. Will absolutely recommend and consider booking here again when visiting family in the future."

"Great value for the price! The room was súper clean and comfortable. Unlike many other hotels, the linens were fresh and didn’t smell of smoke. The breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it had two hot dishes as well as a good assortment of muffins, cereal, waffles, etc. My son and I are in the area twice a year and will definitely stay at the Hawthorn next visit!"
