"Beautiful historic home. Lovely backyard to relax in. Hosts were welcoming and responsive. Very nice touches such as a complimentary bottle of wine, coffee in the kitchen and other little appreciated amenities. I highly recommend this property."

"The house was big and wonderful. Stephen was very responsive and helpful. Because I travel with my dogs and the house is pet friendly, it would have been nice to know that the yard is NOT fenced. My dogs are fine but it might be an issue with others. Also there are about 5 dogs next door who barked and growled and jumped at the fence everytime we came outside. Just a bit annoying to sit outside and enjoy the big backyard. "

"We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. Others have said the place is updated, so even better than the pictures. It’s super and a perfect getaway for two. "

"The pool was very large and the yard was big! This was the perfect space for my group of friends! Will definitely book again. "

"The property is beautiful and the house was perfect for our family stay. The house is spacious and well equipped, the grounds are well kept and the view is spectacular. We loved gazing out at the lake. There are plenty of things to do. The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier and kayaking in the lake. The Foosball table saw plenty of action as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again in the future. "

"Everything was excellent except the communication between the Host and VRBO. I didn't have the VRBO app when I booked the property. The host submitted the checkin and out info to the VRBO app. The VRBO app did not forward it to me. I had to reach out to the host to get check in and out info personally. I booked the property through Expedia. She was so nice and accommodating. When I'm in town, I'll definitely look this up first."

"We were in the area for a wedding, and this property worked beautifully to house our family at half the price of local hotels. Great value! Spacious, with great gathering spaces. Remote feeling and beautiful setting! "

"This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. "

"Definitely a retro feel in an older neighborhood but a well built, well loved house. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the landscaping and the hot tub. Would have loved the pool but it was too cold to get in. Would definitely stay there again. "

"The house was gorgeous, the host was wonderful. We were a group of friends hiking the Sutter Buttes. Coming back to a great place made this trip unforgettable. "

"We rented the house as two of our daughters live in the area making get together very easy. Our third daughter was visiting from Texas and also wanted to visit with her best friend, so the size and location were perfect.Many deer first thing in the morning and then in the afternoon we were entertained by a rafter of turkeys. The view was very nice and you were just far enough away from towns and traffic. Very relaxing."
