Indulge in the serene beauty of Pushaw Lake from our exquisite lakefront sanctuary in Orono, Maine. This remarkable property, accommodating up to 8 guests, promises a perfect blend of comfort and adventure.

As you step onto our property, you'll immediately be enchanted by the captivating views of the shimmering lake. Our home serves as a true lakeside haven, boasting a private dock where you can launch our provided canoe and three kayaks for a day of exploration on the water.

Ensuring your safety and enjoyment, we offer life jackets for all water activities. Whether you're seeking relaxation or thrilling adventures, our lakefront retreat offers an unforgettable escape amidst the tranquility of nature.

Step inside to find a comfortable living area with all the modern conveniences you could want. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals, or you can grill up a feast on the gas grill.

And after a long day of outdoor adventures, you can relax in one of our four bedrooms, each with its own unique charm.

Our lakefront property boasts not one, but two private beaches where you can lounge in the sun, play in the sand, or take a dip in the refreshing water. And with a private entrance, you can come and go as you please without disturbing anyone else.

Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are available 24/7 via messaging if you need anything, but otherwise we'll leave you in peace to enjoy your time at the lake. Book your stay today and experience the beauty and tranquility of lakefront living in Maine!

-We offer 24/7 messaging but cannot always offer maintenance or staff to attend after 5 pm or before 9 am. We will do our best to resolve your needs and requests as quickly as possible once we have staff available.

-We offer just about everything you need to get started such as coffee, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc but please understand we offer enough to start your trip and any extras you need you will be responsible for.

Window units will be installed by Memorial Day through the end of Sept/ early October

This unit is not baby proofed. If you need any baby proofing for your stay please be sure to bring your own devices with you.

Weekly and monthly stays are welcome.

The Pushaw Lake Retreat worked out perfectly for our family. We were looking for an affordable property that was central to the places we wanted to explore in Maine. Very private, beautiful location. The lake was a big, nice surprise. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The home was clean and functional. Checkin, check out, communication was great.

Wonderful location

This place was wonderful for an April visit! The location was lovely and the place was cozy and warm. Host responded quickly to our communications. There was some wind damage to the home while we stayed, and someone was there to repair it quickly. It didn't affect our stay, but they were prompt. We were disappointed that a canoe was NOT available as included in listing. Once we arrived and asked, we were told it was being repaired. Not a deal breaker, but I would inquire specifically before booking if that is important to you.

Lake Pushaw Retreat

My husband and I were in Maine with our two boys to check out the U of Maine. This place was the perfect home base while we were there. Cozy, roomy and lots of great board games! We had a great time and will stay there again when we go back.

Wonderful lakeside home.

Cozy, warm, (it was February!), rustic, and beautiful! The sofas were comfortable and the view terrific. Summertime on the big enclosed porch would be stellar.

Lakeside perfection

This sweet lakeside cabin was perfect for our family! The owner was so great and the house exactly as we expected. We came to visit U Maine and didn’t want a hotel stay instead we got a cozy cabin with a gorgeous view that fit our family and felt like home! Would recommend and stay again!

Tranquil Lake Stay

Lake House

Pros: Overall the stay was nice. The lake access and views are stunning. Easy to communicate with property manager. The house was close to Bangor which was easy to get from the airport. Home was well equipped for all our needs. Cons: Home felt dirty and the water system smells.

July vacation

Property was even better than the listing. Clean, nicely decorated and updated, great waterfront/beach area with a canoe, kayaks, paddle boards. Kids and adults all had fun in the water in the afternoons after we had gone out and enjoyed Maine during the day.
