"Check in was the worst check in I have experienced in the 20 years I have used VRBO. I received no check in information the day of arrival. I messaged the host and received a message back saying I needed to fill out the damage waiver prior to receiving check in information. "The charming house is located near I-10 and college area, easy for we 70 plus age to navigate. We visited two National Parks, so lovely and each different from the other. The home met our basic needs, was clean and quaint with appropriate pricing. The owner excellent with communication. It was a lovely visit to the area. "

"The room was clean, typical amenities, except for having controls over the ac/heat. When i checked in i was informed they control the temperature in the room which, i found was not comfortable for me. I would not stay in the room in the summer months since i was informed they keep the temperature at 80 during the day. I had to keep the inside door open at all times and the ceiling fan on to be able to sleep. I also thought it was in poor taste to advertise their personal political opinions on...

"I reached out months ahead of time, to ask if they had a crockpot in the unit. This was important to us, as we had special Thanksgiving plans. They said yes, so we didn't bring one. That was not true. It also said it slept 4, on queen beds. Also not true. I had to buy an air bed, and a can opener. But it was very cute. We loved it, just wish we could have been more prepared"
