"People came from Alberta, Sask, Ottawa, GTA, Collingwood, and Sudbury. We spent day at Vetta Nordic Spa (20 minutes away, recommend place). 2 nights at VRBO. The place is not very fancy, but cozy and perfect to reconnect with people from far away.The river was a nice backdrop, There were wild ducks also.Saturday dinner was 14 people. Lots of room for people to prepare dinner, eat and chat."

"Condo is nice and clean, however the jacuzzi in the washroom does not work and should be advertised as such; the kitchen lacks supplies (you cannot cook a full meal - and you won't even find a salad bowl); one tiny garbage bin with one bag -in the kitchen - none in the living area, bedroom or washroom. MANY outdoor stairs to get to the condo. Again, condo looks good, but it lacks hosting with supplies, etc. This would not require much effort or from its owner."

"The studio apartment is in a lovely complex - beautiful in the fall with the changing leaves and a nice residential type area to walk around in. It’s close to some nice family activities - tree top trekking, horseback riding and I understand there are skiing options nearby in winter. A highlight for me was that it was walking distance to the Vettä Nordic spa. Dining in the area was a bit limited, but I was able to order Uber Eats when I wanted it (from Barrie). "There was a group of us who stayed here for two nights. It was close to the beach and you cannot swim in the water behind the property as it is water access for boats etc. to come in and out of the area. When we got there there was a few key items missing such as dishwasher pods, dish soap, oven mitts, hand soap in the bathroom. I did message the host about this and they offered to have the housekeeper bring some the next morning. However, we had already gone to Walmart to replace them. It also...

"My friends and I wanted an escape from reality and this place was just what we needed. We were a couple steps away from the lake. As well as there were board games and movies to watch just in case it rained. Overall a great getaway!"

"It was very nice "Back to 70's" kind of charming cottage. Owner and care taker were very nice. Just a problem was shower. It seems couldn't run hot and cold water same time. I struggled quite long time but only choice I got was shower in icy cold water or burning hot water. Every thing else was good especially the "skinny mirror"! the other cottager in the property were nice too."
