"First the place is DIRTY and everything is janky and broken. Definitely not as advertised plus the rooms are tiny. The ONLY good thing was the proximity to the beach and the view. The pull out queen couch was actually a twin futon. The queen bed was actually a full size Murphy bed. The wifi didnt work, the tv was also broken. "This hotel is amazing when you are on a budget. The outside is kind of run down but the rooms are clean, the breakfast is hot, the staff is helpful and friendly and the owner Grace is onsite often and will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is family run and Grace’s grandson (adorable little boy) is around often helping out with his dad. The hotel itself is literally feet from the beach and the sunrises are amazing! "

I happened upon a recent review to find out this information. Fortunately, after calling, the hotel right next door (Plantation Island) are letting guests from The Cove use their pools at no charge!
