Disappointing Stay - NOT AS ADVERTIZED No communication with property management team,
Many,many issues with the house and communication with management. Checked in Dec 21/19. No cable or wifi until Dec 26 (after 38 calls to maintenance - never did return my calls. Had to go through Reservations to speak to someone. Then only 1 TV of 7 was connected. I was unable to do any work until after wifi was working. We went out to buy some Xmas DVD's to watch christmas eve- 3 out of 3 DVD players not working. Only 2 burners working on kitchen stove - was told parts had to be ordered and couldn't guarantee they would be in before our departure. Not easy cooking Christmas dinner and other meals with only 2 burners on the stove. COCKROACHES both dead and alive throughout the house-kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, living room, bedrooms. Droppings from roaches in drawers and cupboards, A maintenance man arrived 2 nights before we were leaving to spray for the roaches - we declined . We would have to stay in the house after the spraying was done Frog in the kitchen our first morning. The entire house was covered in a thick layer of dust - disher set on kitchen table had to be wasthed before use the night we arrived. Dining room table elegantly set for Dinner - All covered with a thick layer of dust. Ceiling vents almost blocked with dust. AC upstairs not working 78-80 degrees at night with only 1 fan for 6 bedrooms. NO recycle bin so they had to be left in garage - neatil stacked. Patio furniture had to be cleaned before use. The dust was so thick on plants above kitchen cupboards it was falling into the food as we cooked. Patio door track and edge of door FILTHY with dirt and mold.. Live creature running around bedroom ceilings at night. There was also a large cluster of dead bugs around the leg of the bed.
My son and his wife left the property on Dec 28 instead of original checkout of Jan 1/2020. We left Jan 1,2020 because it was the first flight we could get together out of there. All of the issues above were conveyed to management and nothing was done - Everything is documented with pictures and videos. We did a video walk through the house on out departure morning to show that everything was in place as we found them.
Beautiful location BUT NOT AS ADVERTIZED. Would we recommend staying here - NEVER, Would we ever come back NEVER For any questions please contact me.
