"The Ayres Hotel Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach was the cleanest hotel we have every stayed in! The room was spacious and had all the needed amenities. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Parking was easy and free, and the property was easy to find. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast provided by hotels, a mix of hot items, cereal, and baked goods."

"Everything was great at this hotel. Staff, pool, amenities, cleanliness. The only thing to note is that the hotel is on PCH which makes the experience pretty loud due to all the traffic. I stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking PCH and I could hear loud cars/motorcycles all throughout the night."

"The view of the beach was great from the deck and parking was provided under the hotel free of charge. Very close to coffee in the morning and many food options. "

"We’ve stayed here before and had a good stay then, but this time we were in a room with a huge gap between the door and floor. I had to put something to block out the light coming in from the nearly one inch gap, We also had no hot water for showers in the morning. That was a major bummer. I’m not sure I would choose to stay here again because of this recent experience, even though the renovations are nice and staff is lovely. This makes me sad. I was hoping for a better stay."
