  • This fully restored 1- bed apartment, has a large covered outdoor dining area with expansive sea views. Polished wood floors throughout. Located on a peaceful 10-acre farm, surrounded by rolling fields of sugar cane. The property has so much to discover, including an historical slave hut. Hear monkeys playing in the trees and watch the sunsets and fireflies come out from your private deck. Only a 7-minute drive to the beach. *** please note air conditioning is an extra charge of $15.00 per night. It’s rarely needed as we have constant cool breezes. Also we require a $100usd ($200bbd) cash security deposit at check in. You receive it back through VRBO within 24 hours of checking out. We do not allow parties to protect the tranquility for other guests, we do however issue day passes (8am-5pm) at $20usd/person should you want to host any additional friends. Limit of 2 per paying guest.

Quiet beautiful location with an amazing host

My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is in the country, just a few minute drive off the highway. It was quiet, peaceful and very beautiful with views of the farms and the ocean in the distance. Loxy is an amazing host, she made our stay very enjoyable with lots of recommendations for good food and great local businesses. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Barbados!

Relaxing stay with beauty and nature

Loxy Thompson my host was amazing from the start, she made sure I felt welcome from the moment I got their, being from Barbados it was a much needed stay in a place where beauty is exceptional. She made sure I had everything I wanted, took me to the grocery store because I didn’t had a vehicle right away, took me out night life to meet some of her friends on the island, took me out once in a while to get rotis and to enjoy the local shops and restaurants, wonderful view at the main apartments, wifi was great, sitting and swimming in a salt water pool was great as well and just the beauty and nature through out the property, i highly suggest this property and to see the tremendous work she have put into this property and I will highly recommend it to someone who’s going to just have a great time, I will be back her again in the near future can’t wait.

PROS: Beautiful accommodation with spacious kitchen, water filter in fridge, great terrace for sunrise and a nice pool. Quiet location away from tourist areas, no mosquitoes. CONS: Kitchen equipment is outdated, communication/organization was inconsistent (wrong booking assumption, checkout message 2 days early causing confusion). Despite being advertised as peaceful, there was frequent construction noise around the pool (drilling, sawing, hammering). The main issues started after checkout: We proactively asked how the deposit would be returned and agreed on PayPal, yet basic steps were missing (e.g. requesting email). After returning home, we were accused of stained sheets due to sunscreen with “P20” (a brand, not an ingredient), which we did not use and disproved with a photo. The “evidence” appeared staged, as sheets were already dried and placed back on the bed before being photographed. After our proof, the stains were magically gone after another wash. We were also accused of stealing a salt shaker despite us having paid a lot for the house. In a long WhatsApp exchange we were partially mocked and charged for a wine glass already broken at check-in, plus the "stolen" salt shaker. PayPal fees were not considered, resulting in less money being refunded. No proper checkout inspection was done, followed by damage claims after departure and a cash deposit system without platform oversight. I would not recommend coming here.

Rust en ruimte in de natuur

Loxy is een vriendelijke gastvrouw die met alles voor je klaar staat. Het appartement was prima verzorgd en je hebt vanaf je 'buiten huiskamer/balkon' een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang in zee. Het ligt op 4 km vanaf Spreighstown, en dat is te lopen. Wij hebben een auto gehuurd om het hele eiland te zien. Het huis wordt nog voltooid, nu zijn er 2 appartementen. Het zwembad heeft ook uitzicht op zee.
