Beautiful Inn and our room was great, the owners were lovely & the wine and cheese social was perfect to get to know everyone, but the breakfast was unbelievable, with accommodations for several different people with food restrictions. I would go back in a minute! Thanks!

Charming bed and breakfast

This was a beautiful historic house wonderfully renovated to retain the original charm of the house while incorporating modern conveniences. The breakfasts were incredible and I loved the coffee waiting at our door in the morning as well as the wine happy hours. The owners were amazing and those extra personal touches made us feel at home. I would definitely come back!

Our stay at the Inn at Onancock was wonderful. The owners, Kim and Mat, were fabulous hosts. The house is beautiful and spotless clean, our bedroom and bathroom beautiful and spacious, the neighborhood quaint, the mini refrigerator upstairs by our room fully stocked with bottled water and soft drinks, delicious homemade hors doeurvrs and wine served at the "wine down", tray of juice and carafe of coffee brought to our room in the morning an hour before a fabulous breakfast served in the dining room.

Perfect place to runawy to- JUST PERFECT

This was one mini vacation I will never forget! They were beyond attentive to guests and made you feel loved and important from the minute we arrived at the door! Hospitality at It's Best

The home is lovely, the hostess fantastic, the wine down happy hour fun and delicious, and the breakfast out of this world. A nice town and good restaurants. However, we should have picked a different room. The only King bed is on the third floor which has a set of very narrow stairs not to suited to older clients. The room has a lovely tub, but no shower and again for older people hard to bathe when a step in shower is much more suited. The room was not as cool as the first two floors which made for a restless night. If we had been informed of these characteristics we would have been happy to be in a queen room. But we still had a good time and would recommend staying there.

Lovely B and B with great hosts!

Went for our 30th anniversary and it was lovely in all respects. Coffee pot delivered to our room, wine in the evening, great breakfasts. Hosts are super warm and helpful. I’ll go back!!

Mixed Feelings

Innkeeper was fabulous and very accommodating but the other businesses in the area were not service oriented. Most of the businesses restaurants and shoe were closed on Sunday and Monday. Those that were open did not seemed to care for their customers need.

Exceptional Hosts, Beautiful Inn, Great Experience

The Inn was fantastic with the exceptional hosts being the most wonderful aspect of the experience. They could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. The Inn was beautiful, incredibly clean and well decorated. The breakfast was delicious and the company delightful. Staying at the Inn was the highlight of the trip and visit to a charming town.

Great B & B

The owners are very hospitable and helpful. We had a lovely room and the house is in a beautiful setting.- great for walks and bike rides. It is a short distance from the wharf. Kim is a great cook. If you are looking for a stay in a quiet setting, this is the place for you.

We'll be back

The Inn at Onancock is a perfectly lovely B&B, and more spacious than others we've been in, both our personal space as well as the public areas. The breakfast and food presentation were top knotch. Kim and Matt are gracious hosts. Onancock is an interesting little town within easy walking distance from the Inn. We used it as just a stopover but plan to return for an actual destination stay and explore the area.

Book this One IF you can get a Room

Torn between sharing how wonderful this place is and keeping it our secret. My wife and I enjoyed everything about the Inn... We stayed 2 nights this past weekend. Matt and Kim are very welcoming hosts and she is a fabulous cook! They work as a team to make sure everyone is taken care of and delighted. Their daily Wine Down gathering is a great way to meet the other guests as well as the Inn's new owners and to learn more about the town and things to do in the area. Speaking of Wine, I would highly recommend a side trip to Church Creek Winery about 30 minutes south. They will make arrangements with a local for a massage if you need one as well. The Inn was well kept and there was plenty of area to relax and have some privacy or take in a game on the large screen TV. Our room was modern yet in proper keeping with the period of the other elements of the Inn as well as homes in the area. Location is great for exploring. Much of the town is hibernating so I can imagine that it comes alive as the weather warms and the Ferry begins running to Tangier Island. Local Restaurants are plentiful and run the spectrum from White Tablecloth to Irish Pub. Food is good regardless of where you dine. Book this Inn without hesitation. You will definitely enjoy your visit to the Inn at Onancock. We will be back and plan to share our not-so-secret getaway location with friends!!

B&B with style, service and flair!

Our stay at the Inn at Onancock was wonderful! The Inn provided great hospitality, food and met special dietary needs. The rooms were beautiful as was the rest of the B&B. Kim and Matt went out of their way to meet our every need. We will go back asap.
