This was the perfect place for us to spend an extended weekend while attending our grandson’s college graduation. The property is ideally located, in a fantastic setting and well appointed. We hope to return soon!

We rented this for ourselves and our adult children and spouses for a get away from the Eaat Coast. The location was perfect, exactly as described. The bedrooms on seperate floors gave us a sense of privacy while all being together. Would love to visit again in the summer to fully enjoy the lake and outdoors.

Great location for family although it was only 2 of us. Plenty of indoor games/ books/ puzzles in case of rain. Weekends on the lake are busy and we enjoyed watching all the activity but we did not take out the house’s rowboat or kayaks. We had brought our own fishing poles and it was a pleasant surprise that they also included those. House was well stocked and comfortable living. Highly recommend for a get-away.

We had a great time at The Peacock House. The setting is wonderful, it's peaceful and had everything we wanted/needed. The view is spectacular, the hot tub was a big hit, and the host was responsive to any questions we had. Hoping to come back when the weather is nice and take advantage of all the amenities.

Our weeklong stay at the Peacock House was as wonderful as we had imagined it would be. Despite frigid temperatures and snow conditions the house was cozy and warm and the gas fireplace was incredible. The winter views of the frozen lake water and the otters playing in the snow were an enjoyable addition to the very peaceful setting. The owners were extremely responsive to any and all questions we had and were very supportive throughout our entire time there. We look forward to returning in warmer weather and being able to enjoy activities on the lake.

My husband and I traveled to Washington to attend a granddaughter’s wedding and decided to stay for a week. Everything was great about our stay. Two of our kids and their spouses stayed with us for two of the nights and everything was perfect to accommodate them, too.

The property is a very nice house, well kept, and clean. We initially had reached out four days prior to check-in to see if we could check-in a bit early but didn’t hear back. I emailed the property manager three times and the reached out to VRBO who contacted them and told us to send an email to a different address, we still didn’t hear back. It wasn’t a big deal at the time. The checkin process was otherwise okay after we received an email. The lake was great as well as the hot tub. The kayaks and paddle board were in good condition. The beds were comfortable and the amenities worked. However, during our first day on the lake we had two people get stung by yellow jackets. We then found a nest underneath the stairway leading to the lake. I again reached out a few times to the property manager and never received a response or even a follow up after check out. Three more people were stung over the weekend. I’m thankful that nobody was allergic but disappointed that I felt we couldn’t get help from the property manager when we needed.

Property was just as stated in listing, Checkin and out instructions were easy and a binder with helpful information was located on the coffee table. Wonderful accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and fun activities for adults and kids (young adults). My son is stationed at JBLM and property was not too far for him to commute back and forth as needed.

It was a sister’s weekend and the house was perfect! Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, lovely decor, and a fantastic view of the lake. The owners quickly responded to a little snafu we had with the door lock code upon arrival. Would like to return during the summer when we can use the outdoor space and the lake (wintery January weather kept us inside this time).

Clean, well maintained, and highly organized property had everything we needed for a great visit to Seatle. The host/hostess also provided information about the area and travel brochures that were very helpful. The only surprise was the stairs as we had an 18 mo old. but we were able to manage around it. Would live to visit the area again during summer to enjoy relaxing by the lake.

When you find a vacation home online, you are always worried what will be there when you arrive. Well, if you are renting the Peacock House, you will be pleased. We arrived and found entry to the house was easy, there was plenty of parking and the house is in tip-top shape. The lake was beautiful and with the little row boat and other amenities, we really didn't want to leave. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to relax. Oh, and the kids loved the common room with all the games.

We had a wonderful stay at the Peacock lake house. Our family in Lacey spent the days with us here enjoying all the area had to offer. We were able to contact the host easily and address small issues that came up. The views were beautiful, the neighborhood quiet, and the home was cozy. Great getaway for us

Every year we have a girls trip to a lake house. this year there was only 2 of us. The house was perfect! RIght on the lake and easy to access all the areas of the 240 acre lake. We brough our own paddleboards and barely spent any time in the house. PROS.. ON THE LAKE! MODERN HOME! EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR YOUR STAY. AC IN THE HOUSE CONS: Even though the house has AC the downstairs bedroom got warm. A fan down there would be good to have. The downstairs shower was hard to use. There is a curtain and it blows all over and its hard to keep the water in. Also if you do not use the hand part of the shower head you have to stand all the way in the back of the shower at the wall for us short people. The BEES are crazy aggressive. Lucky for us we brought cintronella candles, lemon grass and eucalyptus incense and that kept them away so we could eat outside on the deck. The spiders are everywhere (i mean it is nature) the deck and furniture looked as if it had not been cleaned. I cleaned all the webs etc the very next morning they were all back so be prepared for that. I would stay here again its a beautiful home with peace and tranquilty on the lake!
