"We fly in/out of Dublin several times a year. We like this property because although it is only about 10-15 mins from the airport, it feels like you are really in the country. So there is not that cramped and hassled feeling with so many of the airport hotels near DUB - tight parking, shuttle buses, airport noise etc. Roganstown Country House Hotel feels a bit like a respite. That being said, they could invest a little in the interior of the hotel. While our room was clean and comfortable,...

"We only stayed here for one night. Excellent location and close proximity to the airport. The beach access is lovely and one of the highlights from our trip to Ireland. The Jameson restaurant on site had the best burger we’ve tried (from all over the world)."

"Excellent quality and service. Helpful staff."

"Recomendado, excelente hotel"

"The hotel was nice! Located in front of the beach gives a nice view."

"I arrived just before midnight, exhausted and ready to check into my airport hotel only to find about 10 to 12 people sitting in the lobby who are also waiting to check in The hotel had over SOLD all the rooms and none of us had rooms to check in to. The manager was very condescending and could not answer questions as to why none of us had rooms just that it was a mixup They could not find any alternative rooms for us with the area And we all had to take taxis more than 25 to 30 minutes to the...

"Clean room"

"Booked for a quick trip over to Ireland to visit a relative who lives nearby so the hotel was well located for what we were looking for. The hotel is set in landscaped grounds and is impressive when you drive in. Reception is nice and the staff most helpful. The rooms are large (executive twin) with a large single beds and sizeable bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. Robes and slippers are a nice touch. The fixtures are a little dated but worked fine, furniture is quite badly scuffed...

"We stayed here the night before our flight and couldn’t believe how nice the rooms were for an airport hotel! They’re spacious, well designed and felt luxurious. Our rooms had balconies which was a bonus to watch the planes land and we saw a gorgeous sunset for our last nights stay. The free shuttle to the airport was right on time as booked and the restaurant options were great! Well worth the price."

"The service at the bar was excellent. The food has been amazing. I would highly recommend anybody who is traveling back from Dublin to stay a night here and enjoy the services at the bar very friendly staff."

"I booked this hotel because we had a flight out of Dublin the next morning. This hotel is nit direct access from the motorway. While the outside and lobby look nice, the room was okay with a broken fan (no A/C) and the tv would not access any channels. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant in which we ate dinner"

"Nice hotel , nice staff"

"Pool facilities excellent"

"We really enjoyed the pool facility, definately the highlight. The rooms were quite dated, with very old carpet in need of replacement. The Wi-Fi was perhaps the worst part. We could only connect on occasion, and would often get dropped. We relied heavily on our mobile data plans."

"We have stayed at Clontarf Castle several times, usually the day or two before we fly home to the USA, since it is near the Dublin airport. The Clontarf neighborhood is a lovely part of Dublin, with good transit downtown. It is also near many interesting places that are within about an hour's drive or less north of Dublin, such as Malahide Castle and town, the Newgrange prehistoric passage tombs (get tickets in advance), and the Monasterboices monastic site with its famous high crosses. ...

"Firstly, the Hotel is very nice and the staff are absolutely amazing, the breakfast is delicious and the Globe restaurant has great food...the only problem I found was the constant door slammings every few minutes and the screeching of furniture on the wooden floors...it makes for a less calm environment for which a hotel should offer people."

"Excellent place with very helpful staff and great rooms"
