"A perfect base to discover Troyes. The hotel is next to the museum of modern art (definitely worth a visit) and the cathedral. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. There is limited parking on street at the side of the hotel. It was very hot when we visited and the excellent air conditioning in the room was a sleep saver. And speaking of sleep, or room had a large comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"We had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. So quirky and full of character. Beds - amazing, best sleep ever. Walkable everywhere in Troyes old town, plenty of restaurants and cafes on your door step, grocery shop 5 min walk away. Lovely owners and housekeeping girls. Will definitely stay again as we are in this area often visiting my husband’s family. Definitely recommend!"

"Klimaanlage war so laut, dass sie nachts nicht betrieben werden konnte. Ohne wurde es aber sofort sehr heiß. Alles andere war wirklich sehr gut. Bett einigermaßen bequem, Wasserkocher, Wanne, saubereres Haus. Wirklich sehr schön."

"We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards. Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable). "We booked a night in a family room, which, to our pleasant surprise, was actually a suite. The room was clean and well maintained, and the beds were comfortable. Although it is conveniently located near the motorway, the noise level was more than reasonable.
