"The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, including directions to local attractions and restaurant recommendations. The room was much larger than the typical hotel room one finds in Europe. It's in a great location to explore Bamberg. The breakfast was high quality and sumptuous. And...........at a price less expensive than other properties we stayed at in Germany."

"Pros: beautiful location, right in the old town and on the water. You can walk everywhere. The room is good sized and has everything you need. Cons: There is a restaurant next door, with a terrace right next to the windows (if your room is on the street side) , so you might get some noise at night. Although when we were here, the terrace was not open, but there were people talking on the street at 11pm and you could hear everything even with the windows closed. Tip: if you drive, don't use...

"The staff/owners were wonderful. My two negative issues were the parking fees in the parking garage. Parked Friday afternoon left early Sunday morning and it cost $40 euros. The loud people coming out of the bars between 10 pm and 3:30 am kept us up and difficult to sleep. Loud, drunk people sitting around the hotel. Could not sleep. Plus side, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast!"

"Great location. Historic beautiful building. When traveling to Europe in the summer, we always filter to find hotels with A/C which is how we picked this one. Little did we know that only SOME of the rooms have a/c, so we had to move out and into a smaller room. The new room had a couch at the foot of the bed that had a lip that protruded onto where my feet would lay (I’m a 5’ 10” woman). If I pushed the couch out, it was in the way of walking, if I left it, I couldn’t stretch out. I know,...

Es steht an einem sehr ruhigen und zentralen Standort für Reisende die die Altstadt, Brauhäuser, Museen, Klöster und Kirchen von Bamberg besichtigen möchten. "Die Daten von Expedia wurden unvollständig übertragen. Daher musste beim Check in alles nochmal händisch eingetragen werden. Lt. Übermittelter Daten ohne Frühstück, jedoch mit gebucht. Ließ sich aber anhand Expedia nachweisen und war dann kein Problem. Super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr zentral gelegen. Tiefgarage vorhanden, durften am Abreisetag noch bis 17.00 drin stehen bleiben. Relativ laut zur Theaterseite, wenn man mit frischer Luft schlafen möchte. "

"Hotels.com beware. We booked the hotel late but did not receive by email the code keys for the outdoor neither for the room. But we were lucky. A guest in the hotel helped us to contact the hotel manager to get the codes. Othervice we will recommed the hotel."

"Das Einzelzimmer war perfekt für eine Nacht. Das Essen war Bombe, ein klitzekleines Manko gab es, der Teller war nicht vorgewärmt. Auf das Frühstück habe ich ja sowieso verzichtet, weil ich um 07:30 bereits auf die Baustelle musste. Wenn ich Frühstück gewollt hätte, dann müsste ich bis 08:00 Uhr warten. Für Geschäftsreisende nicht ganz so toll. Was das Gesamtbild nur geringfügig schmälert. Das Personal war sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit, für mich eine klare Empfehlung! PS das trübe Bier...
