"Our group of 6 girlfriends had an amazing stay at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina. From the moment we arrived, we knew the weekend was going to be very special. The staff was always warm & welcoming. Shoutout to Scott at reception for ensuring a perfect stay! Dinner at Fresh Salt was delicious & the atmosphere was lively. Shuttle into town was a great option. Can’t wait to book another visit!"

"The sheets in the first room had hair and both queen beds were sunken, and you can feel parts of the mattress springs. The front desk quickly gave us another room and that room was wonderful. When it was first opened it definitely offered great value, now it seems they have cut corners, and that's a shame. "

"The checkin staff and later that evening were a 5. Checkout we were not happy with. My daughter got sick and we asked for 12 checkout for her room only. We didn’t say she was sick. She said 11:30. She didn’t tell anyone as housekeeping came to room at 11:20. We called and again asked for time - she said she can have a “few minutes”. We don’t stay at Quality Inns but travel a lot and have never been told no to a later check if needed it. BTW the parking lot was pretty empty so I don’t think they...

"Walls were thin. Other guests had loud music playing all night into the morning when we woke up. You could hear inappropriate noises. Would not take my family here again."

"The room was ok but, overall the value was not very good relative to the price. The breakfast area was not poorly lit, the OJ was watered down, the coffee was ok. I didn’t even bother with the waffle maker. The lobby smelled moldy and damp. "

"Bed was shot. Bathroom walls were disgusting. Front desk clerk was hard to understand. Lots of empty rooms yet I had an elephant above me stomping around. I won't stay there again. "

"The host/owner Michael is a wonderful host. Other reviewers have complimented the breakfast he prepares...they did not exaggerate. The breakfasts are healthy, delicious, innovative, fresh...outstanding. Our room, #8, is large, clean, has its own private entrance, and a great new shower. This B&B is located in downtown Madison in a walkable area. The house is a large, charming building constructed in 1833. Excellent accomodations. "

"My room was supposed to be non-smoking but it wasn't and stunk of cigarettes. When I got there I rang the doorbell to check in, after several time someone showed up and the first thing he said was do you have a reservation? The towels were thin, I had only one washcloth, and there was soap but no shampoo. The ice machine was locked. There was no breakfast, not even coffee! At 8 AM for checking out there was no one at the desk for me to drop my car off with and I was not about to leave it in...
