"Trendy vibe and great looking decor. Would probably be great for a night out. Re staying check in was an odd experience took absolutely ages as the staff had to double up doing that with bar service but was met with a super friendly chap (sorry I was pretty uncommunicative at that point - tired from travel etc - but your efforts were noted and appreciated). The room itself nicely presented and very clean, bed was comfortable but there was no drawers to put clothes in so not v suitable for longer...

"Superb. Seamless check-in and out. Spotless room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, nightlite in bathroom. We didn't have breakfast, but ate dinner in the River Grille, and the food was delicious. The service was exemplary also. Only very minor gripe was that they had XO cognac at the bar, and no proper brandy glasses. Barman actually asked if he should put the cognac in my coffee!"

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. This is the hotel for you. If you don't like those things, try any other hotel ever. The selling point for the hotel is the parking, right next to Cabot Circus, but that is literally all it has going for it."
