"We only stayed one night en route to the highlands, but this was enugh for us to know the hotel is in a good location (near the outlet), the staff is helpful and the room was and clean. "

"The Solway Lodge was a welcoming place to stay. Lovely staff, nice food and a very welcome drink after travelling down from Fife. We stopped off on our way back home. The room was huge, recently renovated, comfortable. We were able to move our car right outside our room which was fab. Thank you. We will be returning."

"We were extremely happy with our stay at The Mill Forge it’s our 4th time staying there and it was absolutely a treat Room was so spacious comfortable and had everything you can expect Beds are very comfortable bathroom very spacious Check In was easy and the staff friendly and make you feel most welcome With it being only a few miles from Gretna it makes it very convenient "

"Breakfast was lovely, bedroom comfortable. Parking was a slight issue as it's disc parking with no further explanation but the hotel did have a space I could use."

"It was a lovely hotel the only problem was 21 steps up to reception and bedrooms on the same floor would stay here again staff so helpful "
