"Overall the property was clean, but not a great hotel if you have issues with stairs. They gave us a room that you could only get to by stairs (full disclosure, they did carry our bags to and from the room) but you had a flight a stairs just to get to the main lobby. Would not recommend the hotel if you are older. Restaurant where breakfast was at was beautiful, but some items on the buffet were ice cold."

"Location is very convenient, room is nice but lots of issues : 1)- thermostat doesn’t work well, room either too hot or too cold. Notify staff and nothing was done. 2)- Mirror in bathroom if too dark and not useable. 3)- Staff on weekend has no knowledge of anything else except checking in and our for guests. 4)- Breakfast is nice but eating in the dark and low ceiling basement is not a way to start your day. 5)- management is completely out of touch on the weekend."

"First time to Bergen and this was a prime location for everything! Beautiful scenery from my room, comfortable beds, helpful staff. Room was very clean but also a little too warm.
