"Very tidy, and well appointed cottage, close to beach for exercise and close and handy to town.Enjoyed pleasant stay and yes,would like to make a return visit someday."

"Warmly welcomed though allowed privacy. Everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable beds. Great having the 2 studios. Easy access and parking near the door without steps to climb. Lovely garden area. Spotlessly clean. Surprisingly quiet at night as on a busy road which meant we were central and walking distance to shop, takeaways, bakery etc. Short drive to city and waterfront and Pukekura Park and river walks. Great value! Thank you so much for making our stay most enjoyable."

"This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. We plan to come back again :)"

Unfortunately I do have a gripe about there not being a sheet separating the top duvet of the main bed (forgot to check the others), feels a bit unhygienic. I also had a hair on my pillowcase upon arrival, then checked the bed and there was a hair in there too.
